A fine stilllife, Gnnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ray. Sometimes we need to be still....

Beautiful tones and dramatic light captured in this shot!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Enjoy ;-)
Ginnie Hart: We love that place, Cherry. If you come to visit us, we'll take you there. smile
That is really nicely done.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Michael. Thank you.

Love the B&W and yes this is one of our very favourate places to come to. We are always greeted with 'There are the ladies' smile. There is a lot to see in this restaurant and every time we discover something new.
Ginnie Hart: Even on a cloudy/rainy day, this place is just the best, Astrid. I'm loving their new accessories everywhere. smile Bedankt.

I think I may have been here Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Chris, but not in this particular section.

Ik denk dat ik daar ben ook geweest met jullie beiden? A wonderful composition and so typically Dutch with the decorations- always twins things. Astrid could perhaps explain why the Dutch people prefer to exhibitalways two things/vases/candles ... on the windowsill.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, you were with us there, Philine. We love that place. I'll ask Astrid about your question. Hmmmmm.

Les bougeoirs sont très originaux.

this is lovely, sometimes i like being in subdued sunshine inside... it's not the same as dark at night, it's a cozy feeling... you know?
Ginnie Hart: COZY is the perfect word for what this felt like that day, Elaine. In Dutch we say "gezellig," which is even better than cozy!
This must be the place you took us to.....fond memories of that visit!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Bill. It looks very different from when you were there...lots of renovations, adding lots of extra charm, even on a rainy day.

I especially like the lights with the candles; they remind me o the old oil lamps that used to on the front of european steam locos. I like the ambiance of the restaurant.
Ginnie Hart: When you come to visit us one day, Alan, we'll take you there! Thank you.

This is a great place to eat a pancake, I believe. I also believe this is an excellent b&w.
Ginnie Hart: You always manage to bring a smile to my face, Louis. smile Thank you.
A dramatic light captured, good bw. Bravo to you Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
I love the unique candle holders and B/W is perfect here.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. It's such a cozy place for us, rain or shine.
I rather like this Ginnie. Do you always opt for table 10 in the window, it looks a nice spot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. No, this is never our table but it was fun to capture at the end of the quite large room. They have a cozy room elsewhere with lovely vintage-table nooks. But in this large open room, busloads of people come from all over the world to "experience" Dutch pancakes here.

I like your interesting candle holders Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: They were new since the last time we were there, Chad, so they caught my eye.
Lovely light here... Nice capture Ginnie... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Sudipto.
Ha ha! You know what?! I have been to Holland a few times but never been to any pancake restaurant!?! I had rijsttafel instead. wink Twice in Amsterdam. smile
Ginnie Hart: When you come to visit us one day, LC, we will definitely take you to THIS pannenkoeken restaurant because we can kill many birds with one stone by going there (out in the polder, for one thing).
An absolute 10!
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Robin. You know how to make my day!
this looks like a good place to spend some time on a rainy day Ginnie... good in b&w....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Definitely, Peter, and thank you.
There is something I love about this one... no sense analyzing it...
Beautiful, Ginnie!
A beautiful b&w photo! Lovely!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
