I like your clever pp here, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Looks modernist when you remove many of the details.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, it does, Michael!

This is the best picture I have ever seen of the scissor arches, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: You couldn't have given me a greater compliment, Lisl, which humbles me. Thank you kindly.

This is such a fabulous view of that special architecture in the Wells Cathedral. Wonderful presentation and I love the symmetry in it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. I suppose we'll never see anything like it again...and to think we both got to see it with our own eyes!
It is that most important time in the churchyear Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, it is, Chad!

This is an incredible sight. Tom showed a view of this a few weeks again, too. I've not been to Wells Cathedral for around 50 years; I need to sort that out!
Ginnie Hart: I remember when Tom showed it and told him I had one queued up as well. It really is something to see!
Magnifique prise de vue !
Ce décor est impressionnant , Merci
Ginnie Hart: It is one of those cathedrals well worth seeing, Claudine. Merci.

i can see why they call it the scissors arch... tho i may be reading into it smile it's a beautiful picture, and soooo exquisitely centred on Jesus
Ginnie Hart: You're not reading into it, Elaine, because that's exactly what it is. It has such a magnificent feel of Jesus being "high and lifted up."
compo et traitement superbe!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Your treatment makes the gold and surrounds stand out.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary.

The architects planned this well. Jesus-centered, one could say. Excellent picture.

PS. my youngest offspring is planning an Easter lunch for Friday - unleavened bread, lamb, olives, baklava, etc.
Ginnie Hart: Christ-centered, indeed, Louis. I would be delighted to sit in on such a meal by your youngest.
I've seen quite a few shots of this magnificent arch but none as good as this. If my plans work out for Maureen's 70th.in October I might even get to see this for myself, at last!
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Brian. I would LOVE for you to see this "at last." I will wish it for both you and Maureen.
Probably my favourite of our Cathedrals Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I can certainly see why, Bill!
i like your presentation of this place, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.
what a magnificent image of such a beautiful arch Ginnie... it sounds famous and you have perfected its prominence....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Peter. You would love it, if ever you get a chance to visit it.
Ha ha... I just love this church!
Do you think Scissor Sisters were baptised here?
I miss them already!
I have been to their gig in London. smile
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to you, LC, to think of Scissor Sisters. You're way beyond me in this field, I'm afraid!
One word...STUNNING!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, dear Robin.
Great treatment, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.

Wonderful smile

I hope to attend the Sunday morning Eucharist service in Wells this year.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, wow, Cherry. I remember that you were going to check out those high-backed chairs in the chancel area. smile
Sweet image. That bleached out vignetting sure works with it.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Michael.
I like the symmetry and the wonderful architecture!
Ginnie Hart: It is absolutely stunning in real life, Charles. Thank you.
great processing, Ginnie. I am sure the original is just as good...
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Larry.
