How lovely is that glow! Good eye, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. smile
That's truly vertical. And built without modern scaffolding.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I'm sure, Michael. These old churches amaze me!

I have noticed that this is one of the first things you do when entering an ancient building, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Lisl, I do believe you're right!

The sheer height of this place!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Chris. I did NOT grow up with such architecture, least of all in churches.

This is a fabulous view. Often I try to picture 'how did they built this'. The builders did not have all those machines to help them. LOVE the light and the dark and the angle.
Ginnie Hart: For those of us who did not grow up around this kind of old, elaborate architecture, Astrid, it blows the mind even more! Bedankt.
A fine picture of a beautiful building Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

I am glad you did, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, Ray!
Beautiful framing Ginnie and nice light also
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.
Nice, calming image, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: For me, too, Mary. Thanks.
I'm guilty of not looking up enough in wonderful buildings like this, I shall take a lesson from you on that score.
Ginnie Hart: It must be because I'm not used to it, Brian! It amazes me every time.
cadrage et traitement super! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
Belgian churches all share this same feature. Tall ceiling with plain white walls. wink

Did you find any cushions there? Ha!
Ginnie Hart: Funny you should ask about the cushions, LC, because, NO, I didn't. It truly must be an English thing! smile

This shot automatically has you looking up. Yes, March is important - when we have most of our b'days smile

Thanks for the card of condolence. It is good to know that others "hug" you in bumpy times.
Ginnie Hart: So glad you received out card, Louis. Thanks for mentioning it!

I love the curves in those types of ceilings. Rarely seem by those below unless they have a photographer's eye smile
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if it's because I'm an American who didn't grow up with such grandeur, Alan, and thus always look up in such places?!
Great pov, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom!

Lovely smile Belgium is calling me again smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's so close to us, Cherry, we try to go at least once a year. When and where you decide to go next, please let us know so that maybe we can come visit you there. smile
That is amazing. It is hard to imagine how the workers built places like that.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Michael. I almost always start out with my mouth wide open!
wonderful colors... Ginnie, I think I am going to buy a camera today... smile
Ginnie Hart: I just looked up your new camera, Larry, and am delighted for you!
