Brilliant picture, Ginnie, but I find it a tad disconcerting!
Ginnie Hart: So, not particularly your kind of art, Lisl??? smile Jean Tingeuly's exhibition that day was different in almost every way.
What a thing!!!
I'm reminded of a line in a song..."Though I try to put my best face on, you know that damned thing always fits me wrong..."
smile
Ginnie Hart: I've just changed my text to "best" face, Elizabeth, because that's better, so thank you. "What a thing" is right!
You have to wonder whats going on in an artists head when you see a work like this...Nice colours, I like your treatment, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Frank. If you had seen the entire exhibition, you'd really be scratching your head! Thanks.

Damn! That is good!
Ginnie Hart: You should have seen the rest of the exhibition, Ray! I'll never forget it.

Great picture with the wright-up. I wonder if they would notice if I arrive at work like that, I think I blend in perfectly.... Love the selective colouring.
Ginnie Hart: I think this is one of his signature pieces, Astrid, maybe because of the color. It felt right to "select" it like this. Thank you.

This is an exhibition I would have thoroughly enjoyed visiting Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, you would have, Chris, for sure!

You must have been enthousiast by this exhibition - I love your title - oh, if we could do! Today masks are ordered in our country.
Ginnie Hart: I wasn't thinking of Carnival when I posted this, Philine, but now I see how appropriate it is! smile Thank you.

Hahah!! It was similar to toking how I used to feel in the bad old days of being a slave smile I'd love to know what goes through the mind of the artist.
Ginnie Hart: I think we all can relate, Alan. HA! And yes, I'd love to know this artist and what he was thinking!

On a voulu qu'il se taise
JP
Ginnie Hart: HA!
I can't help wondering where you could possibly put this
Ginnie Hart: In a museum, Bill, or maybe in the lobby of a huge office building?

too bad we couldn't build our faces lol... this is a very cool shot of a neat piece of art... thanks for sharing sister
Ginnie Hart: Some people DO "build" their face, Elaine, and the reconstruction doesn't always "sit well," if you know what I mean. They should just leave good enough alone. HA! (You're welcome.)
That looks like me when I try make up.
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Mary. That's hysterical! grin
Oh I like this sculpture very much Ginnie, good find.
Ginnie Hart: You'd love the entire exhibit, Chad! smile
belle trouvaille! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
Nothing wrong with your iamge Ginnie, and excellent exercise in photogrpahic art, not sure if the subject is art or not.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. Enough to give a second-take.
Is this Lisa or Maggie?
Can't be Marge for sure! wink
Ginnie Hart: It can be whoever you want it to be, LC. smile
"put on a happy face"...
Ginnie Hart: ...along with your "happy feet!" smile

Like the picture paired with the quote smile

But I am not at all sure about the artwork standing alone!
Ginnie Hart: One does wonder what's going on in the mind of some artists, Cherry!
That is quite the Monday morning face. I think coffee is needed.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I tend to agree with you, Michael. smile
it looks like it got dropped off a truck during the transportation, Ginnie. but then again, i confess i do not always interpret works like this.
Ginnie Hart: One has a lot of questions when looking at art like this, Ayush, for sure! smile

This is so very very cool!
Ginnie Hart: Not usually my kind of art, Robin, but it did capture the imagination! smile
