Je ne suis pas sûre que cela soit très confortable.
Ginnie Hart: At least there are cushions, Martine!
Important to have a comfy bottom Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Chad. Indeed!
And those cushions would make it quite comfortable! As well as a very nice composition
Ginnie Hart: Couldn't do it without the cushions, Elizabeth. smile Thanks.
Good for a nap.
Ginnie Hart: That, too, Michael. smile

It might be a bit cold without the well-stuffed cushions, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeedy, Ray!

This looks like a nice cozy corner to snooze away...
It's amazing how many of these cushions there are. Love the different details here.
Ginnie Hart: As you know by now, Astrid, the church cushions in England have really captured my attention! Thank you.
I don't think they got to use cushions back in the old days.Sit and suffer.
Ginnie Hart: You're probably right, Michael. But better for hell and damnation sermons, I'm sure. We've come a long way since then, I think?

You and your church cushions, Ginnie! (By the way, I have just become a Friend of Wells Cathedral)
Ginnie Hart: YOUR church cushions, Lisl!!! I can blame it all on the English churches I have visited these last years. I have never seen such a fine array of church cushions in my life! (BRAVA on becoming a Friend of Wells Cathedral!)

C'est moins froid que la pierre ...
JP
Ginnie Hart: You've got that right, JP!
if not for those bright red cushions, this would be a drab and hard spot to sit, Ginnie. i would actually be tempted not only to sit, but stretch out for a while smile
Ginnie Hart: A good stretch is good for the hart and soul, Ayush. smile

I'd go for the cushions on the right; look to be better padded than those in front. I love the old stonework.
Ginnie Hart: Good choice, Alan, and I agree.

that's very pretty, but i wish i had a place to rest inside my head... one just like that would be perfect smile
Ginnie Hart: I wish that for you, too, Elaine!
The colour livens up the cold stone so well.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Mary.
The cushions look lovely and comfortable but I'm thinking just how old all that stonework must be.
Ginnie Hart: Yes and yes, Brian. I just wish I remembered what this room was for!
bel endroit! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
and the cushioned seats makes if an even better way to rest...i love your framing here Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. The older we get, the more we need the cushions, right?!

You are invited to lay down for the duration of the sermon!
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm sure some of us will, Louis. smile
I like this composition Ginnie. Beautiful framing, stones and red
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. I have become quite enamored of church cushions since seeing so many of them in the English churches.
It looks comfortable...
Ginnie Hart: I'm quite sure it is, Larry, though I didn't test it myself.
So comfy you just don't wanna leave, G!

When are you going to move to England? wink
Ginnie Hart: Now that you mention it, LC...do you realize that before BREXIT my staying permit allowed me to move to England...anywhere within the EU. I don't believe that will be an option anymore. sad
