They make me feel cold Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It was, in fact, one of our colder days thus far this winter, Chad. How did you know?
Not too sure about the respectfulness of this, Ginnie, but it makes a good photo.
Ginnie Hart: That IAMsterdam sculpture (like the one at Schiphol Airport) is meant for climbing all over, Frank, and is one of Amsterdam's best photo-op props!
The prow of a ship.
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Michael!

Fine shot, Ginnie. They are bundled up like you made the shot in Antarctica.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. It was one of our coldest days this winter thus far...but only just below freezing. The Dutch call it "water cold" because the damp cold goes straight to the bones.
Cute, Ginnie! Love your treatment!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Elizabeth.

To me it always surprises me that 'everybody' wants to climb that I-Amsterdam 'sculpture..
It gives great pictures. Love the treatment, wonderful picture.

Ginnie Hart: I just LOVE that there are two of these that I kno of, Astrid, and used as great photo ops for the city of Amsterdam. I've never before seen anything like it. Thanks for the link that helps explain it.

On Monday we saw the meisjes, now the boys. Oh, I know where we are - AMSTERDAM! A delicate picture!
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Philine, isn't it! smile

Just what I'm doing now. Well, not climbing on things but have a tea. Looks chilly there. Did you climb up?
Ginnie Hart: I love picturing you and your daily teas, Alan. HA! Yes, it was "water cold" chilly that day, and NO, we did not climb up. We were on our way to Wagamama for lunch!

Look like young men everywhere, Ginnie. I like the expression "water-cold" - it has been like that for many days here this winter
Ginnie Hart: This could, indeed, be almost anywhere, Lisl. And, yes, that's a Dutch expression, when the cold is barely freezing but goes straight to the bones!
Looks like a promotional picture for a 60s group!
Ginnie Hart: Like for a music album/CD, Bill? I like that thought. Thanks. smile
A photo op if I ever saw one.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Mary! smile
they had a great view... as good as you point of view Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: We both had our advantages, I'm sure, Peter. smile
Like the ladies on Monday all well wrapped up against the cold.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Brian. Good observation.

It seems cold by their expressions - they should bring some cushions along next time, to sit on the 't' of Amsterdam.
Ginnie Hart: It was "water cold" that day, Louis, straight to the bone. But we all sure had fun, even without cushions. smile
belle photo! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, JP.
Ha ha! Ex-Backstreet Boys?
Ginnie Hart: That's a good one, LC. Maybe?!
We'd like to thank the City for the letter "t".
Ginnie Hart: HA! "Brought to you by the letter 't'--indeed! smile

They look uncomfortable on their perches!!
Ginnie Hart: Plus, it was "water cold" that day, Cherry!
It looks like a great place to sit and watch people.
Ginnie Hart: Based on how often it happens, Michael, I believe you're right! smile

is that a really big stop sign? haha... reminds me of sitting in the hollywood letters in california... neat shot, sister
Ginnie Hart: NO. It's the "Iamsterdam" art sculpture that has become a huge photo op for tourists from all over the world. Thanks.
I like your process Ginnie and I like this photo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.
