Perhaps you will have another opportunity this year, Ginnie. It doesn't seem to be warming up at all
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Lisl, I still have a couple more pics from that day but will save them for next year, maybe. Don't want to tire people out, you know. But, yes, we're going through one of our colder cycles right now. It hasn't been a couple degrees below freezing a couple days in a row for a long time!

A delightful composition Ginnie, I do so like the effects of hoar frost
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. It is definitely enchanting.
It makes me shiver on this chilly morning Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It's chilly here, too, Chad. We haven't had this many days in a row this cold in a long time! It's about time!

Ginnie Hart: I may slip in another one just for you, Alan. Who knows. smile
Lovely shot the touch of sun made all the difference
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martin. Good eye because the sun was just rising off to the left of the image.
I love the frost photos so need to stop for me.
Ginnie Hart: I have a couple more, Mary, but may save them for next year...unless the weather stays cold!

A fine shot for the last in series Ginnie, we've had quite a few mornings like this of late. I've caught up with your Wells Cathedral set on your blog, what a lovely place, your pictures only make me even more determined to visit there one of these days.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. You'll LOVE Wells if ever you can make it there!

What a brilliant winterscape. Your presentation really enhance it.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Louis. Thank you.
That is so beautiful. I love that frosted tree.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. It was a magical day!
i rather like the tree, almost blending in with the mist, Ginnie. you can churn out more of these!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. You´re a sweetheart.
Oh no...please...more, more, more! Love!!
Ginnie Hart: HA! I may post one more, Robin, for those of you who "protested" a bit.
love the frost on the trees Ginnie...
i find it strange to see boats on the water in winter....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: These are steel boats, Peter, not wooden. Astrid says the wooden boats are out of the water. If the water starts to freeze around the steel boats, they just break the ice! If houseboats are wood, they have to crack the ice...but for the last few winters, they haven´t had to worry much at all.
