It is a stressful passing of the baton.
Ginnie Hart: You can say that again, Michael!

Love that bridge!
Ginnie Hart: You notice that one end is closed off, Ray, so that the animals can't cross over. I wonder if there's such a gate for Presidents-to-Be????
Very nice photo, nicely presented, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

More Dutch you cannot get. I love this very much. A peaceful scene, I hope we can say that about the next 4 years too...
Fog does add to this picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. This is my haven/heaven, so nearby. I feel so lucky. Let's see what transpires in these days and years to come. We may all be surprised?
Just lovely, Ginnie.
God help us. Seriously - I'm not just saying that. GOD will have to help us.
Ginnie Hart: I originally added to my text "God help us all," Elizabeth, but decided to just leave it at that. Aren't we all in incredible wonderment that "this" is happening!

Jolie ambiance avec cette église dans le fond.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Martine. Notice how the church is the one thing most in the fog!
Time to march.
Ginnie Hart: That's tomorrow, Michael...all over the world!!!!!
I was speaking in more ways than one

Ginnie Hart: Yes, of course, Michael!

As far away from it all as you can be..
Ginnie Hart: Far away and yet still very much present, Chris. Indeed.
Magnifique prise de vue ...danger ce pont !
Ginnie Hart: I hope it's not as bad as it sometimes seems, Claudine!

What a day, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: I'm afraid so, Lisl. (sigh) But I'm crossing my fingers for "the best," whatever that might be. Karma has its way of finding us, you know.

Oh, Ginnie, ths image could make my day- wonder-wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: You will probably always remember our part of the world like this, Philine. We need to get you back here when it's not so foggy!

lovely lovely lovely, I wonder if Astrid called those sheep would they come running across the wee bridge... I love your sheep pictures!!
Ginnie Hart: Not here but at another place where they were closer, Astrid whistled but they didn't budge. I think the fog scared them. HA!

I understand why you posted this fog image - yes, there is more fog considering the future of our world ...
Ginnie Hart: It's everywhere right now, Philine, isn't it. Let us not lose hope midst the unknown!
This is faded with fog beautifully.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. You could almost cut it.
superbe composition!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
I always enjoy your pictures Ginnie, some more than others obviously, this one comes pretty close to the top of the pile for me, I would like to have been there to see this with my own eyes.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Brian. It always amazes me what images some, like you, like the most. smile
A peaceful scene Ginnie. Trump is bad enough but I am even more concerned about Marine Le Pen winning the French Presidency
Ginnie Hart: The Dutch aren't looking forward to their election in March, Bill, so it seems to be happening everywhere.

I'll be watch the Inauguration later on this afternoon. I still can't believe it;'s real! In the meantime, I will enjoy this beautiful shot; mist, a church, some water - and SHEEP; what more could I want smile
Ginnie Hart: You're most kind, Alan. Thanks. Now that the Inauguration is over, CNN has said Trump's speech was the angriest of any ever given. It was like he undid every effort of any President before him and now HE would be the one and only true president who would get things done, finally! UGH!

A bridge between them?
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Anne, between the separate fields. That's what you see all over the Dutch polder.

For the moment, no-one has the foggiest where everything is heading.

Likey.
Ginnie Hart: You are so right, Louis...even after the fact (it's now Monday). Thank you.

Well constructed, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.
"America first, America first!"
We heard that Mr President.
So who's gonna play second fiddle? Canada?! wink Come on it's pretty obvious, right?

Did you know that your new Mr President is half German half Scottish?! Which half should we trust? He he... wink
Ginnie Hart: No, I did not know that about our new President...half german and half Scottish. I'm afraid neither side would want to lay claim to him, LC. Sad but true.
I'd like it if someone could use that baton on him!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Tom.
What a scene. I couldn't watch today...
Ginnie Hart: I watched, Robin, so as to see it with my own eyes. I wanted to draw my OWN conclusions midst the entire context. Needless to say, I'm so glad it's over and that Saturday eclipsed it!
a fine presentation of the polder in fog, Ginnie. yes, things will start to become clear soon.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. It's now Monday and I'm afraid the "true colors" are shining through!
