A novel still life, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. When I saw it a year ago, I knew it'd show up this year here. smile
I love it. Home is always the best place on this planet that we share.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. I agree with you completely.
Very lovely tones, Ginnie!
Yup - as home is where the heart is... and my heart resides safely in Frank's hands... smile
Ginnie Hart: Ah, then. Home Sweet Home!

Nowhere quite like it, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Isn't that the truth, Lisl. We love traveling here-n-there, but we ALWAYS love coming back home!
Très jolis objets et composition Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.

I like this very much. A wonderful still-life and yes, there is no place like home...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Astrid. We'll be snug as a bug in a rug...the way we like it. smile
Très jolie composition ..
Merci
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.
Your photography reminds me of Norma's something's Ginnie, the way you look at details. Home is sweet indeed, or should be.
Ginnie Hart: What a sweet thought, Chad. I'm honored!

Oh, we don't have any German phrases like HOme sweet homew or my home is my castle. I agree fully with these sentiments. I am a 'Hausschwalbe'/Home swallow as we say.
Ginnie Hart: All the world over, the sentiment is held dear, I'm sure. I like the Home Swallow. smile
Always at home for Christmas
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Bill. It seems so "right." smile

Très jolies décorations.
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Martine.
The best place to be, Ginnie. Sweet image.
Ginnie Hart: We all seem to be in agreement, Mary! Thank you.
I get the meaning Ginnie. As sad as it is that we don't have any parents any longer to spend Christmas with it is still nice to be at home and not have to worry about travelling as we used to have to with two young children as well.
Ginnie Hart: I know what you mean, Brian. Astrid and I love the idea of being cozy in our own home, sharing each other. We already celebrated with the kids a week ago.
a very nice angle on this delightful shop and very timely, as i will be flying home within a week.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush. It's definitely that tome of the year!

awww aren't those sweet? i'm not sure what they would be used for, but they are so cute!! And no i'm not home for the holidays, we never get back there!
Ginnie Hart: You ARE "home" where you are, Elaine, and sometimes that's even better (like with Astrid and me this year...or most years).

Fancy that! we have just bought a string of lights very similar to those little houses ;-)
Ginnie Hart: How fun is that, Anne!
SWEET!!!
Ginnie Hart: YOU are sweet, Robin. smile
jolie composition!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
such a beautiful display Ginnie... too bat that there is a bar code in the top right corner to distract from this special scene....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. Maybe next time I'll clone out the bar code?!

Inevitable (result of the wedding) we are home for the holidays. Last guests only leave next week smile
Ginnie Hart: Time to relax and take it easy for awhile, Louis!!!
Something terrible just happened in Berlin...
Is Europe still a safe "home"?
Ginnie Hart: Everywhere in the world is "safe" where there is love, LC...and LOVE is HOME. I really like that the German people as a whole said they did NOT want their Christmas markets closed after the attack. I so agree. And I would not stop from going back myself!

Not quite...

But your image is lovely smile
Ginnie Hart: Maybe your own home is enough, Cherry?! Thank you.
