Always! Big kisses, little kisses... smile

Lovely, Ginnie!!
Ginnie Hart: You see big bunches of mistletoe in trees in Europe, Elizabeth, something I never saw while in America. This seems huge enough for at least a million kisses, big or little. smile

You never have to ask smile this is an amazing big mistletoe.
Ginnie Hart: NEVER, indeed. smile Our American mistletoe is wimpy compared to this!

Il faut s'embrasser dessous, cela porte chance.
Ginnie Hart: In this case, Martine, LOTS of luck! smile
As long as it's not Baldur.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, then....

There's a lot of kissing up there Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Definitely, Chris! I have never seen so much mistletoe as in Europe since living here. We're lucky in America to get a bunch the size of a baseball!

Symbolic of the Christmas season. I don't think people need a reason to kiss now, though. There are trees near me with big bunches of mistletoe in them.
Ginnie Hart: We saw HUGE bunches while a Budapest a couple years back, Alan. I was shocked. We never see them like that in America.

Oh, your treatment is wonderful- what all your eyes discovered!
Ginnie Hart: I bet you remember that bunch while we were in Tecklenburg last year, Philine? Or maybe we found it before you and Mechtild arrived. I couldn't believe how BIG it was.
Je veux bien un kiss sous ce beau bouquet de gui
Ginnie Hart: LOTS of kisses for you, Marie, under this big bunch. smile

I thought the kiss should be made on the 1st day of the year? is it the same every where?
Lovely!
Ginnie Hart: For us in America it is during the entire Christmas season, Anne, but the mistletoe there is in much smaller bunches! They are much bigger here in Europe.

Une belle grappe
JP
Ginnie Hart: It's HUGE, JP! Thanks.

By the way, the last 3 times I have visited your site, I have received a Microsoft crash report that sounds like a total hoax but totally messes up my page. It has caused me not to return to leave a comment. Has anyone else mentioned this? I'm so sorry.

Don't you ever worry about who you might be confronted with under this stuff Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Well, now that you mention it, Chad.... grin

whoa!! now that's a big mistletoe for a big kiss!!
Ginnie Hart: We NEVER had them this big in America, Elaine. Or Canada??? But they sure are H U G E here in Europe. I saw them high up in the trees outside of Budapest one year.
I know where I would stand for a break.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Mary. smile
As you've said today we get big bunches like this growing in our trees, I've noticed some in nearby Loughborough for the first time this year, mind you if I needed Mistletoe to kiss my best girl then I'd know something was wrong smile
Ginnie Hart: Good way to put it, Brian. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you! smile
We need some super glue under this big bush so no one can escape!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Have a go at it, then, LC! Dsmile

If this is mistletoe - then I have just seen it for real for the first time. Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: This is indeed mistletoe, Louis, but a HUGE bunch (as I have seen elsewhere in Europe). In America we were happy to have it in the size of a baseball!

A very nice photo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Always! Lots of kisses from us in Bergen!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Charles. Maybe we'll get them again in real life one of these days/years. smile
very nice shot, Ginnie. that is indeed a LOT of kisses. i am not too familiar with this plant but have heard of this custom quite a number of times.
Ginnie Hart: We grew up with mistletoe in America, Ayush, but just in small, hand-sized bunches. Nothing as big as THIS! smile
