I love these spoons and it makes it easy to remember who's coffee is there for a refill. Great scene.
Ginnie Hart: It's so fun to see what our friends have whenever we go visit them! smile Thanks.
Quelle bonne idée ..une jolie collection
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Claudine. Merci.

I hope you have a wonderful time in Belgium Ginnie, a land of many photo opportunities
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. And it's only a hop, skip and a jump away, which is what we love about it.

Enjoy your break. Many dutchies live with non-matching tea and coffee sets - and for some reason I like it. With a Dutch wife - yes, we have a lot of non-matching stuff.
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's what makes the world go 'round, Louis. smile Thanks.
We were given a collection of souvenir spoons to sell for our Lions funds and they all sold on Ebay!

Enjoy plenty of Belgian chocolate and beer!
Ginnie Hart: I LOVE stuff like that on eBay, Bill. Very fun. And, yes, for sure we will enjoy Belgium beer...and maybe even a few chocolates? smile

my mother used to collect those wee spoons, people would send them to her from everywhere... she would have loved one of those! nice picture, of your dinner table?
Ginnie Hart: Lots of people collect spoons, I know, Elaine. I especially liked these because of Boayt Friday! These we from a friends house for koffie break about a year ago.

The. Etherlands and the sea Ginnie, what a nation. Have fun in Belgium.
Ginnie Hart: Oh yes, Chad. You can't think of the Netherlands without the sea, for sure. Thanks.
Have a great time in Belgiumshire!
What are you going to get for me this Christmas? wink
Ginnie Hart: We plan to, LC. I'll tell you what I'm getting for you when you send me a photo of yourself. Seriously! smile
I have seen many tiny spoon collections but never in use. I love the idea of using them and these sail boats are especially nice.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree on both counts, Mary!

Enjoy your holiday, I look forward to hearing and seeing all about it smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Anne. I'm sure there will be lots of things to share! smile
Enjoy your time in Belgium.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian!
Love the little boat spoons! Enjoy your time!!!
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Robin. Thank you.
Just a trip across the border, eh? Enjoy yourselves - there's some great food to be had in Belgium (one of its best kept secrets) smile
Ginnie Hart: We had a fabulous time in every way, Tom, in spite of the fact that the Brussels Christmas market was dismal. At least Astrid was able to eat her "mussels in Brussels," and we DID find an excellent Christmas market in nearby Hasselt.
Sweet. That sure fits the boat theme.
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Michael, isn't it. It's surprising how often we find boats in the least-expected places!

Enjoy your vacation in Belgium. It would be lovely to meet up with you there sometime smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry. Whenever you know you'll be there again, please let us know so that we can meet up with you, if the timing is right. Belgium is so close by!
A clever variation on a theme...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. I thought so, too. smile

Those are spoons? These are awesome --- hope you both are having a lovely vacation!
Ginnie Hart: Some people collect such spoons, Emily, but I never thought about the ships/boats on them. How fun for me to find them. smile We had a great vacation and are now settling back in for the holidays.
