On ne s'attend pas à  trouver un bateau et un phare à  un tel endroit.
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely a nice surprise, Martine.
Wonderful image, Ginnie! I love how you've highlighted the boat!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. And to think I never saw the ring until I loaded this to the big screen.

It got lifted out of the briny by the last great storm, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure of it, Ray.

These are the little treasures you find when you look good. I wonder if the ring is used as a candle holder to burn a candle for safe voyage?? Love the scene.
Ginnie Hart: It was fun to fun as we turned the corner, Astrid. But since I didn't see the ring till on the big screen, I never had a good look at it. I wonder!
This is excellent Ginnie! I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.

I love the lighthouses in Cornwall, too. Welcome back!
Ginnie Hart: I haven't seen many, Philine, but I agree! And thanks. It's always good to come back home.

Was this in a garden, Ginnie? Good to have you back on S/C
Ginnie Hart: No, Lisl. This was a ledge/nook near someone's steps to a house. It was so unexpected. Thanks for the welcome back. It's always good to come home. smile

Oh this is lovely! I wonder what the history there is behind this? The lighthouse is doing good job in keeping the ship away from the rocks (alas too many wrecks in Cornwall).
Ginnie Hart: I'd love to know the history, Alan...as well as why the ring is there???

As a piece of art it is fine & effective Ginnie, and indeed appropriate in Fowey
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Chris. Thank you.
Well spotted Ginnie. You have created a fine picture
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
J'aime beaucoup l'osmose d'idée !
Bonne journée
Ginnie Hart: Merci, Claudine.
You have found a little trove of treasures!
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Mary. More than I expected. smile
Welcome back to the EU Ginnie, I hope your trip was a good one. I like this little scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. It was a good trip but it's always good to get back home, as you know!
Excellent Ginnie!
Nice day to you
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
An intriguing find, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Tom. Thanks.
So are you finally back from the Land of the Free? wink
I went to Chester last weekend.
I think you will love it - add it to your list.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I'm back, LC! But I'm not sure I'd call it the Land of the Free right now!!! (sigh) I can hardly wait for this election to be over!

Chester...is now on my list!
my mom used to pain on rocks... tho i think the idea came from 'pet rocks' lol neat shot... how did i end up missing shots from you?
Ginnie Hart: Painting on rocks is very cool. I actually did it, too, in my day. They make good paperweights. smile
Very nice. The boat sure pops out.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. It sure popped out for me! smile
compo et traitement extra!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
A nice surprise Ginnie. I like the bits of colour too in the lighthouse.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jacquelyn. I love surprises like this. smile
A nice bit of folk art...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry. I thought so, too.
Don't you love that photography really makes you look and find where it's least expected? Wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Robin. It never ceases to amaze me! I suppose we will now need more than ever to find balm in our photography/art?!
