What a great saying, Ginnie! I have found it to be true smile

Have a wonderful Friday smile
Ginnie Hart: I have found it to be true as well, Emily, but I was quite older than you! smile You have a great Friday, too. Thank you.

You have captured a wonderful scene, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. She was waiting for the student ferry to take her back home, I presume.
i feel sorry for the ticket taker... she is over dressed and very bored... but i like you composition Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: She's actually a student, Peter, waiting for her ferry to take her across the river to home. But she could be the ticket taker, for sure. Thanks.

What a fabulous scene and I think it is boring to come from school and to have to wait for the next boat home....it did come, we saw and they all went on it going home.
Ginnie Hart: Definitely not like the Dutch students who can hop on their bikes without having to wait! It's another world there! Thank you, Astrid.
Don't I know it! smile

Wonderful shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: And we are testament to the fact we are never too old, Elizabeth, right?! Thank you.
Très jolie scène avec les bateaux en toile de fond.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine.

Ginnie Hart: Yes, Philine, you would know this scene. We enjoyed are time in Cornwall so much!
Sourires !
Belle patience ..
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Claudine. Thank you for your visit and comment.

I have happy memories of this place Ginnie. Is she trying to look cool?
Ginnie Hart: Happy memories, indeed, Chris. I have a feeling her patience is running thin?

Not a lot of human activity here, Ginnie, but such a lot for us to see
Ginnie Hart: The other students did eventually arrive, Lisl, as well as the ferry to cart them back over the river. smile In the meantime, you're so right...there was a lot to see.
Lovely place Fowey. She looks fed up....perhaps her phone battery is flat
Ginnie Hart: I think she was disgusted she had to wait for her classmates, Bill?
Scary Ginnie, at first I thought that girl was carrying a rifle.
Ginnie Hart: Uh-Oh, Chad. I think your recent trip to Germany must have unearthed some long-lost memories for you?
kind of a strange scene, as he said in 'Nottinghill'... surreal, but nice smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Stranger things have been seen, I'm sure, Elaine, but this was fun while it lasted. smile
The school girl has an attitude.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly! smile
belle scène! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.

A student ticket taker? Wow. And an egyptian pharaoh on the right there on the bench. Man, hanging like a finch onto the ticket booth. Some strange characters. And some boats to honour Friday.
Ginnie Hart: She's actually not the ticket taker, Louis, but is waiting for the other students to join her, which they did shortly, in time for the ferry. Always some boats to mark the day. smile
Ha! Perfect! You captured the best expression!
Ginnie Hart: I was lucky, Robin. smile
We went to this lovely place back in the early 70's, pre children and have never forgotten a magnificent lunch we had on the verandah of a restaurant overlooking this very place.
Ginnie Hart: Memories. I love that we have them to keep for a long time, Brian!

I pity the poor girl having to make the ferry crossing in all weathers. Fun in sum but not so good in winter.
Ginnie Hart: I suppose if it's been her life, Alan, she doesn't think twice about it????
Looks as though a number are waiting for the next trip!
Ginnie Hart: Every day, Tom. Every day. HA!
Sure, but the ship you were really waiting for was a canal boat though. Ha... I know you too well!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed, LC. A canal boat is definitely more to my suiting. smile
Nicely shot, Ginnie. That girl sure gave you a nice pose.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. It was a quick snap that I didn't really "see" until later. Lucky for me. smile

Je suis passé ici il y a deux ans
JP
Ginnie Hart: Aha! Then you know this place, JP!
The young girl epitomizes waiting...
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Larry. smile
a nice scene, Ginnie. a lot of notices vie for attention here.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. Both Astrid and I were "short of eyes." smile

Si on peut s'asseoir, ça va!
Ginnie Hart: I think she was glad to stand after sitting in school all day??!! smile
What a candid photo especially with the girl who appeared to be quite impatient smile
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes we catch something more than we expected, Charles, and in this case, I did. Thank you.

Patience is a virtue ;-)
Ginnie Hart: My son would come home from school when he was young and say "Patience is a virtue striven for by many but achieved by few." Indeed. smile

With my luck, when my ship comes in, I'll be at the airport!
Ginnie Hart: LOL! Dear me, Bonnie. That's too funny!!! grin
