It is hard work taking a break, Ginnie...one needs to know when to give it a rest!
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I like that, Ray! smile

On ne risque pas de lui voler son vélo.
Ginnie Hart: Gotta pay attention to these things, Martine. smile

Ray might have a point... it takes some skill to relax.
However I don't think this gentleman has any problem with taking a break from a break... some people are born with the gene.... ;
Fabulous picture.
Ginnie Hart: I immediately thought of Alan, of course. smile Thank you, Astrid!
That's the way to do it!
Ginnie Hart: Alan does this all the time, Elizabeth, don't you think? Except he's eating scones or cake instead of reading the paper?! smile

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Philine. It reminded me of Alan. smile

It's Alan's Mediterranean equivalent..
Ginnie Hart: I totally concur, Chris!
A break moment before re-start. Excellent
Ginnie Hart: Even during breaks we need a break, Marie, don't we! smile Thanks.

looks like he is having a relaxing day! lovely shot, my friend, and i love the processing smile
Ginnie Hart: Most of us need to learn how to relax better, Elaine...and I speak for myself, of course. I'm learning. Thank you.
He seems scared having his bike taken away Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: One wonders what that's all about, Richard? Maybe he wanted to make sure he wasn't taking up more space than "allowed?"
A relation of Mr Rolfe? Love the picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I'm certain they know each other well, Bill! smile Thanks.
bien gardé le vélo!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: And he's not that bad either, JP. HA! smile

No chance of anyone taking his bike while he is distracted reading his paper. The saddle looks very comfy; mine was designed by a sadist, I'm sure smile
Ginnie Hart: I knew you would totally relate, Alan. smile

That bicycle belies the idea of a break. Even on Malta the seem to experience the unsolicited loss of bicycles (or they knew there were dutchies about). So he strategically placed his transport against his knees. And all that means he is half awake during this break.

The picture is a great one.
Ginnie Hart: And in the end, half awake is better than not awake at all...I guess?! grin Thanks, Louis.
nice shot, Ginnie. i see that gentleman has something strapped to is handlebar?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. It looks very "serious," whatever it is!
Sure looks like it! Great!
Ginnie Hart: It tickled me, Robin, especially with him keeping guard of his bike like that. smile
Unusual parking job... it's a good thing he doesn't have a car...
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good one, Larry. smile
And it came with a radio too?!
I still listen to online radio even until now. wink
Ginnie Hart: Very fancy and highfalutin, LC. No wonder he's holding it close to his chest! smile
Nice treatment, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.
I'm not sure he likes what he's reading in the paper.
Ginnie Hart: HA! One never knows about these things, Jacquelyn. smile
How can one sit and read the paper without a cup of coffee? Very nice shot.
Ginnie Hart: Very good question, Michael!!!
I see all the references to our good friend Alan have already been made, but he was my first thought when i saw this.
Ginnie Hart: Hard to miss Alan in this image, Brian, for sure! I love when images remind us of our SC friends. smile

He looks worn out...
Ginnie Hart: Probably par for the course, Cherry?
