That is a terrific shot. I love that deep blue colour.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael. I do, too. The Mediterranean Sea is something else!

That is such a wonderful picture. I saw that big boat going into the harbour. Love the sun on the yellow limestone.
Ginnie Hart: We didn't see many of these big boats, did we, compared to what we see here on our Merwede river. It took me by surprise when I saw it coming into the harbor.

Il est très beau dans ce magnifique paysage entouré de bleu.
Ginnie Hart: The blues of the Mediterranean Sea are hypnotizing, Martine.
What a wonderful picture Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

A very nice composition Ginnie, no doubt Mr Shaw is sipping a cool beer somewhere around here as I write this
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. I've been thinking about Mr. Shaw enjoying himself there. My biggest surprise, however, was when he said he had never been across the harbor (from where I took this image) to visit The Three Cities jutting out into this harbor, looking back on Valletta.
They will never get that great big brute of a boat Friday in this little harbour Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It was a huge surprise to see it, Chad...the only one like it I saw the entire trip. I have no idea what it was doing there!

This harbour must have been a good sanctuary during WWII. I like your view here.
Ginnie Hart: Now you've got me wondering how Malta was affected by the world wars. Hmmmm. I don't remember hearing anything about it...or maybe I wasn't paying attention? I just Googled and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Malta_(World_War_II)

The blue sea is wonderful- you was blessed with beautiful weather!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Philine. It was hotter than usual at that time of the year (up to 30C at one point) but there was almost always a wind. The water was just incredible!
compo et couleurs extra!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.

Ces gros bateaux me font peur...
JP
Ginnie Hart: Me, too, JP, in that narrow space!
This is our first boat Friday from Malta. Soon we will know the world. It is lovely and well composed.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. Between Astrid and me we will hope to do Malta justice when it comes to Boat Friday! smile

Beautiful colouring, Ginnie.

It's nice to see Malta in the sun, it snowed when we were there many years ago.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Pauline. Based on our time there, it's very hard to picture Malta ever getting snow!
she is sitting rather high up in the water, Ginnie - unmistakable Boat Friday for sure.
Ginnie Hart: She was the only one I saw of that size near the harbor, Ayush. It surprised me!
I like the contrast of the modern ship and the old walls...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. I do, too. smile
Altogether a very fine shot Ginnie, a sure fire winner for me.
Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Brian. Thank you.
Such a lovely place!
The sea is so blue too.
Ginnie Hart: We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, LC.
this is a wonderful shot and i love the blues Ginnie... the tanker ship sits high in the water....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. It's the blues of the Mediterranean that had me at "Hello."
A fine boat friday Ginnie. I wonder what it was carrying?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill, but I have no clue!
Nice composition Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.

Such a calm sea. I like the contrasting colours.
Ginnie Hart: Almost everything about this place felt calm to me, Louis...outside of high tourist season, of course. Thank you.
Wonderful composition and those blues!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin, and...I know! Those blues were magical during our entire trip.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you for your comments whenever you remember me, Marie. For me, I go back to my last image and click on everyone who commented there. I'll try to remember to go back further till I find you on another day to keep the trail going.
Wonderful picture Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland.
