You made great use of the light, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thnak you, kind sir.
i love this, so rich and dreamy!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elaine. You'd love this castle!
That is an absolute beauty. I love the light and the great detail in the shadow.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Shadow-play can be such a fun game. Dsmile

I think I will grab a chair and have a break... I might just do that for today grin...
Great light and wonderful B&W. Love the shiny floor.
Ginnie Hart: You knew I would eventually choose this pic for SC. HA! You can read me like a book. smile
I love how you've allowed the light and shadows to be as they are... There's enough detail in what you present!

Have a wonderful break of your own!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth, on all counts. We're in total count-down for Friday's trip and adventure!
Très joli noir et blanc.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine.

Lovingly stacked
Ginnie Hart: A agree, Chris. The next time you come, we'll go INSIDE. It is totally worth it...maybe the best castle inside I've ever seen. But who knew that back then....?
So very nicely stacked Ginnie! Great use of the light here.
Ginnie Hart: Leave it to the Dutch, Richard, as I so often say. Thank you.

I would call this a typical Ginnie corner
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, Lisl. smile
I like what looks like a step to access the window Ginnie, chairs are wonderful things. We have stacking chairs when extra people come for dinner.
Ginnie Hart: As I told Chris, the next time you come (for long enough, that is), we'll go inside this castle. It's better than we expected (but hadn't yet seen it when you were last here). Being able to stack chairs is one of the wonders of the world. smile
The floor looks lovely and clean. Thanks for stacking the chairs.
Ginnie Hart: The Dutch like this, Mary. smile

Three chairs for your holiday - ah, not until Friday, though! Hip hip... B&W works well for this.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! Good one, Alan. Three chairs, indeed. smile Thanks.
I would never have seen the possibilities of this scene, brilliant .
Ginnie Hart: We all have our "thing," Martin, which is good! smile Thanks.
Nicely lit b/w, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!

It has a very sad, forgotten feeling, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: A room set aside for the stuff not needed, Pauline? I know what you mean. But then, we all need a storage room, right?
Cracking picture Ginnie. One of your finest
Ginnie Hart: I take that as a compliment, Sir Bill. Thank you!

i like this style...simply but very very good!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Oliver. More for less?
I don't want a chair, I want a chaise longue. wink
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA!. Leave it to you, LC. smile
Enough chairs for a convention of knights...
Ginnie Hart: That'll work, Larry. smile
But they are currently pointing in the wrong direction ;-)
Ginnie Hart: We need to go rectify the situation, then, Cherry!
