and a river runs through it... lovely picture, sister!
Ginnie Hart: Or a castle moat, as the case may be. I wish I had thought that first! smile

I like the trees roots best of all, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Next to the draw-bridge, I do, too, Ray!
So lovely, and peaceful, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth, and yes, it was a delightfully peaceful place.
Joli petit pont, je vois qu'il s'ouvre.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Martine. I love the Dutch drawbridges. smile

Time flies and it is good that we often stop to see the beauty of it all and don't rush all the time. LOVE this POV, I remember it was different but so wonderful.
Beautiful picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. Just think about how ready we are to walk over a bridge into a new world...soon!

Very agreeable too Ginnie. Can I see something large and artistic back there?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chris. And yes, good eye. That castle had a huge art exhibition all over the grounds at that time...crazy, wonky art! smile
I especially like the draw bridge.
Ginnie Hart: It's my favorite part of the image, Jacquelyn! smile

rather Dutch, the water is high after much rain as I assume.
Ginnie Hart: This was back in June of last year, Philine. I suppose it is as full now as well?!
A quiet April so far.
Ginnie Hart: So far.....let's hope it stays that way, Michael (though we ARE on our way to Malta this week and are quite excited about that!).
that looks like a cool place smile
Ginnie Hart: It is, Joshi. smile
Aha a very Dutch bridge Ginnie, at first I feared that I saw gallows.
Ginnie Hart: HA! No gallows at this castle...at least not that we saw, Chad. smile
Completely delighting this small bridge, a very romantic image.
For Word trade center of Grenoble it is not surprising because Grenoble is a university big city and at the forefront of the scientific technologies. She is very cosmopolitan
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. I love these small Dutch drawbridges. So quaint.

Thanks for the additional words about the WTC in Grenoble.
That lift bridge is so Dutch. wink
Oh yes, I also went to Japan.
Ginnie Hart: More Dutch you cannot get, LC. We can say such a thing about Japanese images, too, can't we (not the Dutch part, silly).

La passerelle est presque sous l'eau
JP
Ginnie Hart: I didn't notice it till afterwards, JP. smile
I like the bridge. When they have enough visitors they can just pull it up
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Bill. We were lucky that day, I guess? smile

The moat looks as if it is flowing - perhaps a windy day, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: I don't remember if it was windy, Lisl, but there were times when it was quite sunny (in June last year).
A lovely perspective with this special bridge Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. I LOVE these wee Dutch drawbridges!
joli petit pont!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: They're one of my favorite Dutch things, JP. smile
Over the bridge to spring here, I hope.
Ginnie Hart: I've seen lots of snow on FB the last few days, Mary. Hopefully it'll all be over soon!

A peaceful idyll, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Pauline. Sometimes we need "peace" to start the week! smile
I remember these lovely bridges from all those years ago

Are those some of Ray's monks coming from the back there?

Interesting that they have CCTV there (it looks like it).
Ginnie Hart: HA! There was a wonky art exhibit there, Louis, but not at all in the same fashion as Ray's monks. Just the color. grin
what a wonderful pedestrian draw bridge Ginnie... a good way to start off the week....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: I love these Dutch bridges, Peter. smile Thanks.
What a great little bridge, Ginnie, nice shot young lady. smile
