Our world needs a LOT of prayer, from people of every faith...
Ginnie Hart: You can say that again, Larry!!!

I think there is credible evidence that Mankind is on a downward spiral...this is unlikely to be a bad thing for Nature, in the longer run...
Ginnie Hart: And yet, in the midst of the chaos, Ray, there are so many stories of love and transformation to restore one's hope and faith!

niiiiice church... hey i have a church picture tonight too!
Ginnie Hart: Roman Catholic churches are so strange and unusual for me, Elaine, because I didn't grow up in them. I find that I'm often staring...if that makes sense?
They world needs all the help it can get.
Ginnie Hart: So so so so so true, Michael. (sigh)

The world has gone mad. We have to believe that love will over win all the evil there is now. Like Larry says it does not matter what you believe in, this destruction of mankind should stop.
A very appropriate picture, wonderful POV.
Ginnie Hart: I'm so glad we can go through all of this chaos together, MLMA...and help change the world one person at a time. If we don't have faith, what do we have left?
In what kind of world are we living Ginnie? Let's pray for a better one!
Ginnie Hart: We've been praying our entire lifetime, Richard, haven't we! (sigh)

I think that would be not a bad thing to do Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Shaking one's head is not enough, Chris, I'm afraid.....

I was admiring the marble in this, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Roman Catholic churches are still to this day so very foreign to me, Lisl...as you surely know by now!
That looks a very comfy kneeling stool Ginnie, perhaps a bit too comfy.
Ginnie Hart: But I think being that close to the altar would keep one alert, Chad????

J'ai une pensée pour nos amis Belges
JP
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, JP...and for all everywhere who are going through great suffering.
ne laissons pas l'obscurantisme gagné! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: I agree, JP!
Very good thought. There is a world day of Prayer but I can not remember when.
Ginnie Hart: It's the first Friday of March every year, Mary...but surely needs to be every day, as we all know! Thank you.

You are so right - a very appropriate image today!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. Let our hearts be broken.....

yes, a fine sentiment following the horros of yesterday especially.
Ginnie Hart: Horrors are happening all over the world every day, Alan, but when they hit close to home, they somehow see worse.
a fitting message and an excellent shot for the insanity of it all, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: 'Insanity' is a good word, Ayush! Thank you.
I despair Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I know, Bill, especially for our grandkids. But if we do not have hope, what have we???
Very true words Ginnie, sadly I believe it will take a bit more than prayer and faith, from all religions to clear the hate from these wicked peoples hearts!!!
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't agree with you more, Brian. ACTION is what we all need, one person at a time changing his/her space in the world.
An appropriate post, the lives of so many ordinary people of all creeds were irrevocably blighted or destroyed yesterday.
Ginnie Hart: And not only yesterday, Martin, but every day all around the world. Will it ever stop?
So very very true...
Ginnie Hart: It's enough to break our hearts wide open, Robin. One person, one step at a time....
I think it is going to take a lot more than prayer, Ginnie - wonderful solace for those of faith, but I think the rest of us are probably with Ray smile
Ginnie Hart: It takes all of us, Tom, no matter what we believe, to do our part...ACTION...in making this world a better place. One person at a time.... I do not yet feel doomed to despair.
A big prayer is req' I think, Ginnie....:-(
Ginnie Hart: And probably a lot more than a big prayer, Frank. If we all could do our part, maybe we could turn this thing around?

Prayers are always needed. The whole world seems to be descending into the dark ages :-(
Ginnie Hart: The "descent" feels most despairing, Cherry, but I do pray that all of us will do our own part...what's in our ability to do...to change the world for the better. Let's keep telling the GOOD stories of hope and love.

J'aime beaucoup le sol en marbre.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Martine.
Indeed... This images reminds us...
Ginnie Hart: Let our hearts be broken...into action, Jacquelyn.
i say a prayer for peace in the whole wide world every day Ginnie...
and a special one for my family as well...
i love the rich tones in this image....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Prayers and actions wherever we are, Peter...to make our own world better. Our own grandkids need to see how we love each other!
Prayers are answered every day.... so we'll keep at it!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Elizabeth. Indeed! Thank you.
