Those chairs are gorgeous, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Indeed, Ray, There was no way I was going to leave them out!

what shall we pray for? what a lovely church, definitely sacred ground :0
Ginnie Hart: So much to pray for...where do we even start?!
so peaceful...
Ginnie Hart: So much what we need these days, Robin....
What a beautiful church Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: It really is, Richard. Thank you.
So many earth tones.
Ginnie Hart: ...which I love, Michael. Maybe that's why I was drawn to this view?! Thanks.

The quietness of the colours and the scene complement each other so well, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Lisl. It was my favorite part of this church!

What a wonderful view and by the look of it, everything is polished and cleaned, ready for the Easter Weekend.
Love the POV.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. Actually, this was back on November 7th last year when we visited Ayush. It's hard to believe it was that long ago! Maybe they were polished up for Christmas? smile To be honest, this was my favorite part of the church...the only part that was this light.

The year is moving on Ginnie but I always find it disconcerting that Easter is a different time each year
Ginnie Hart: It boggles the mind, Chris, when you realize it can be a month later, depending on the year! In other words, I agree!

The people will be coming to listen to the music by Bach and to the sermons on the following days. I love your atmospheric image!
Ginnie Hart: It is, indeed, a time of music and sermons, Philine. A time for great rejoicing in the Christian world.

L'intérieur de cette église est sobre
JP
Ginnie Hart: It was my favorite part of this church, JP, which was much darker everywhere else.
A nice painterly picture ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Bill.

I expect that as we get even closer to Easter then those seats will be filled. I like the view here.
Ginnie Hart: Even though this was taken back in early November, Alan, I'm sure you're correct! Thank you.
I like what your treatment has done to the walls.
Ginnie Hart: Believe it or not, the walls were kinda like that (though my treatment probably enhanced the effect). Thank you, Mary.
bon cadrage! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
Wonderful picture Ginnie, a fabulous setting, all ready for action.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Chad. Ready, indeed.
this is a wonderful shot, Ginnie. i like the bright, cheery feel within the church. i remember we all remarked how the interior was significantly cooler than the outside.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. I also remember how dark some parts of the church are. This was probably my favorite spot of it all.
What a lovely part of a church, we missed the church part of Palm Sunday yesterday as you know!!
Ginnie Hart: This was the brightest part of that Roman Catholic church, Brian. I'm still trying to get used to the difference between catholic and protestant churches, as you'd guess!
Indeed it is Ginnie. Nice image to go with it too.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Jacquelyn.
Heard a radio programme today about finding a fixed date for Easter - what a crazy system! The programme was called "Beyond Belief" - you could listen to it on the BBC radio iplayer - radio 4
Ginnie Hart: Wouldn't that be a change, Tom. But why not! We all know Jesus was NOT born on December 25th. smile
That is beautifully composed, Ginnie. And it almost looks painterly.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. The walls had a natural texture that really lends this to a painting, indeed.
looks so peaceful and nice smile
Ginnie Hart: Churches need to do that for us, I think, Joshi, right?!

This peaceful scene allows us to reflect on Holy Week.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry. There's a lot to reflect on this Holy Week in particular!
