That is a great POV and love the shadows. I learned that sometimes go with the flow might cause less 'ripples' in the water..... wink
Love the light in this picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. It's not always the best action but when it is, it may help to ease the load?!
What a wonderful perspective with this light play Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

It all looks so peaceful Ginnie, nice shadow too
Ginnie Hart: It was definitely peaceful that day, Chris. We were the only visitors walking around the place!
I lover the look of the water here. Nice and fresh looking.
Ginnie Hart: It was such a peaceful place, Mary. Thank you.

Little and large. I'm always fascinated by watermills. I assume that these are undeersttod wheels (ie the water turns the paddle from the bottom ratther than from above)? It looks lovely in the low sun.
Ginnie Hart: We visited two watermills that weekend, Alan, neither of which was working. But I assume you are correct, that the wheels turn (there are three wheels at each place) by the water from the bottom. I found this video to be quite informative: http://study.com/academy/lesson/windmills-water-wheels-and-labor-savers-in-the-dark-ages.html

I posted a similar picture one week ago - I have a feel of spring has approached!
Ginnie Hart: This image was taken in early December, Philine, when we visited you. But it definitely had the feeling of spring that day!
Ha ha yes it does Ginnie, but these waters appear rather still.
Ginnie Hart: That may be why the wheels weren't turning that day, Chad? HA!

I couldn't agree more ginnie grin
Ginnie Hart: I*'m so glad, Bill. smile

Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
If there's a place on this Earth where I expect to find watermills it is Hollandland, they've got the lot haven't they.
Ginnie Hart: Over 100 here, Brian, but we hardly ever find them. We were lucky to find two in one weekend!
this is so beautiful smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Joshi. I can still remember what it felt like being there.
Cheap energy...
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Larry! smile
Oh...that lighting!! LOVE!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. I can still remember what it felt like being there that day!
Lovely colours, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Tom.

Wow, looks like you have some nice weather there. The grass here is still a little brown .. hoping in the next few weeks it will be nice a green smile
Ginnie Hart: This was actually taken back in early December, Emily. It was a gorgeous day...and fits the new spring that has just come...yes! Thank you.
