Do you walk this path once in a while too?
Ginnie Hart: I think this is a private road, Jacquelyn, but we do pass it every once in awhile and I love it.
love the windmill and your colouring of the image Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Ginnie Hart: I know you like the windmills better than the boats, so this is my nod to you...whenever I have a windmill, instead of a boat. smile

It is one of the finest in the neighbourhood. It has been renovated over the last year. A wonderful landmark and a wonderful picture.
Ginnie Hart: I remembered it when I saw it this last time but had no idea it was in the Almkerk area, so now I've got it "pegged." smile Thank you, MLMA.
A wonderful one indeed Ginnie! I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard. It represents what I love about the Netherlands!

I love this Dutch view - such a quiet, peaceful land!
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Philine. It still remains soulful to me.

This is delightful. I love the composition with the S-shaped path especially. I can unstained your attraction with the mill. I was very surprised to hear recently that there were more windmills (or I suppose wind pumps) in Norfolk than in Holland. I'm not sure how true that is, though.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Alan. Wind pumps/turbines, of course, are very different from windmills but as long as they're sustainable, who cares!
It is such a perfect shape Ginnie. Please say to Astrid from me, regarding her photograph posted on this Friday in March, that would right, I can imagine how Noah felt, "now how are we going to get down from this thing?"
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad, and I will definitely let Astrid know your sentiment about her image. smile
This one has the truly iconic 'Dutch Windmill' look.
Ginnie Hart: More Dutch you cannot get, in other words! smile

Ginnie Hart: More Dutch you cannot get, I know, Louis. And YES. I have that book from my earliest days here in this wee but incredible country!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Tom.
