Isn't that great!! Wonderful find, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: It surprises me how we can find windmills all over the place here where we live, Elizabeth. By now I expect it! smile

that would really mess up a child who was trying not to break his mama's back by stepping on a crack! smile
Ginnie Hart: Lucky for mama, this is on the side of a house, Elaine!
So clever!
Ginnie Hart: I want to memorize this layout, Robin, because it really IS clever...and simple.

Jolies formes géométriques.
Ginnie Hart: Geometric and very doable, I think, Martine.

I think this is a very very clever design thought up by the people and created by the bricklayer. Maybe a retired miller lives here, or maybe in earlier times on this spot was a windmill.
So simple and so beautiful.
Ginnie Hart: If a miller lives there, it's his own personal gevelsteen! HA! It's such a simple design that would be so easy to replicate. Let's not forget it!

How simple and effective, Ginnie. I see you have made your mark there, too!
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Lisl, isn't it. I want to memorize the design because it'd be cool to replicate it somewhere.
Quite clever Ginnie! I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way, Richard. smile

Belle trouvaille
JP
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, JP.
I have heard of Flemish bond in brickwork Ginnie, but what sort of bond is this?
Ginnie Hart: Hmmmm. Surely there's an answer, Chad??!
excellent détails! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
Love this wonderful graphic done in brick!
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Mary. I want to memorize it, in case it comes in handy one day. smile
Simple but charming Ginnie.....sounds a bit like me grin
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I love it!

Although I saw this on Facebook earlier, it's only now that I can see it's a windmill smile It's idea.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! Maybe it needs to be big enough to see it, Alan (assuming you saw it on your iPhone)?

"It's idea"? Where did that come from? It was supposed to say "It's wonderful!"
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, I thought you forget the "an" instead of the wonderful. I'll take the "wonderful." smile
What a delightful idea.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Martin! smile

Great wall thingus as decoration. It says "Here at number 5 we have windmills in our minds."

Is the black border your attribute or did they paint the house black?
Ginnie Hart: The black border was part of the half-timbered construction, Louis. I added nothing but a wee tweaking.

How effective is that? What a great find
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Anne. It would be fun to use that design somewhere, don't you think?! smile
Very well done for seeing this Ginnie, I wouldn't mind having a design like that in my garden wall instead of the plain brickwork I have now.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. I can even see it as a pattern in a walkway. So many places where it can be used....
A clever bit of brickwork!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Tom. Thanks.
Well spotted smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Cherry.

I love this, Ginnie. It reminds me of the mall town feel of Newfoundland or something smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Emily. It's a design that could be used in so many things/places. smile
That is wonderful. Amazing work.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. I thought so, too.
it's hard for the wind to turn this mill Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It turns the windmills of my mind, Peter, and that is more than enough. smile
lovely symmetry here, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush.
