NO! I'm staying right here in this chair!! Oh - I'll get fired... well, that's no good... alright - off I go!
A lovely shot - reminds me of Spanish moss
Ginnie Hart: It was just a dab of whatever-it-was that caught my eye on the walk home from the grocery store one day, Elizabeth. But yes, Spanish moss does come to mind! Thank you.
Reminds me of a galactic tendril.
Ginnie Hart: I bet you've seen a lot of those, Michael! grin
Is that a bird's nest? the babies all flew away? i thought i saw babies smile go see a picture of my baby now smile
Ginnie Hart: This is actually a macro shot, Elaine, of whatever that is...but definitely something a bird would want for its nest. I hope one found it!

Beautiful details and wonderful DOF, I hope by the time it gets untangled it will not be caught in the hard wind we have over here....
Ginnie Hart: I hope a bird has already found it for its nest, MLMA. Or that it is firmly attached wherever so the wind doesn't blow it away. Thank you.

C'est du lichen ?
JP
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, JP, I have no idea what it is! But it did catch my eye. smile
Wonderful intricacy Ginnie! Thank you for the encouragement.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Richard. Sometimes we all need a good push to get started after the weekend. smile
But you and me, we are all connected. I kinda like this messy relationship. smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Indeed, LC. smile
Don't you hope the birds find what you have found and use these well matted grasses for nesting material.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Mary. Abolutively.

And what a weekend to do extrication from. We had Mumford and Sons, here in my hometown, yesterday evening.
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes it happens, Louis! I just talked with a neighbor who watched America's Super Bowl on BBC 2 last night (early morning) and was whacked!

What a tangled web we weave. is it all natural? I keep thinking about discarded fishing nets and snagging seabirds sad
Ginnie Hart: I think this is all natural, yes, Alan, but I know what you mean about those snagged seabirds/creatures. (sigh)
Funny how nature can produce all this lot, especially for somebody like yourself with your 'seeing eye' to pass by and photograph it.
Ginnie Hart: I was in a macro mood that day, Brian, walking home from grocery shopping. HA! Thank you.
Exactly Ginnie, enough of this lazing around, there is work to do.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Let's do it, Chad!

Happy Monday, Ginnie! I am sad the weekend is over though sad
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure for you who work, it's very hard to say Good-Bye to the weekend, Emily. But...there's one coming up again soon. It'll be here before you know it. smile
This so reminds me of spanish moss too! Love it!
Ginnie Hart: Now that you mention it, Robin, yes, it does. smile
Like a crown of thorns...
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Larry. It's coming up soon.....

Oh, nature decaying !! the birds will use them to build nests !! Have a great week
Ginnie Hart: That's what I'm hoping, Pat...that by now a bird has confiscated this and has already made it into a home! smile
Mmm, quite a task you set, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes it's better to start from scratch, I know!
So it was.....I'm a bit behind today

Nice picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Better late than never, Bill. Thanks. smile
that is quite the twisted bunch of whatever that bush is Ginnie... i like it....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Who knows what it is, Peter??!! But thanks.
This image expresses exactly how I felt on Monday morning ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, then. It does actually happen! smile
Oh what a tangled web we weave. When first we practice to deceive. - Sir Walter Scott
Ginnie Hart: Perfect quote for this, Michael. I wish I had thought of it first! smile

Très jolie prise !
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine.
apt message, Ginnie. we have a day off for the lunar new year in Singapore.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. And yes, I was watching the celebrations of the lunar new year on CNN off-n-on yesterday.
