Beautiful, so peaceful. Waiting for Spring to come. Love the reflections and the bare trees, they look like lace.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. I really am quite drawn to peaceful scenes like this all over your lovely country!

Lovely and your treatment makes it stuntacular.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir!
I just amused myself by rearranging the words to form 'Where waters still run deep. Oh well, how sad am I?
Ginnie Hart: Not a thing wrong with you, Chad!!!!!
I like Astrid's chick pic Ginnie. I do hope her machine will be fixed soon.
Ginnie Hart: That meant a lot to Astrid, Chad...and as you probably know by now, all's back in order. It so happens she did NOT have a virus but something kicked off her spyware...for some reason?!

So they say, Ginnie. A lovely tranquil scene juts right to think about starting the weekend in just a few more hours.
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes "tranquil" is what we all need for at least a little bit, Alan. Thanks.
You always post some great images Ginnie but to be honest, in the just over 8 years I've been privileged to see your work, for me personally this is among the very best of them all.
Ginnie Hart: You sure have made my day, Brian...but I must say it always surprises me by what others think are my best images. smile
A fine composition, time to 'splice the mainbrace.'
Ginnie Hart: So, I had to Google the term and love what I found: "'Splice the mainbrace' is an order given aboard naval vessels to issue the crew with an alcoholic drink. Originally an order for one of the most difficult emergency repair jobs aboard a sailing ship, it became a euphemism for authorized celebratory drinking afterward, and then the name of an order to grant the crew an extra ration of rum or grog."
it looks peaceful with just a ripple of the water Ginnie... goo composition....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Peter.
Lovely shot and presentation, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Don't you guys have any narrowboats in the Netherlands? wink He he...
Ginnie Hart: NO, LC. The only narrowboat I have seen here is actually in our Gorinchem harbor at different times of the year, here from England. It makes me smile every time I see it.
