A month gone by already... lovely wings...
Ginnie Hart: When you only have 12 months in a year, Larry, and one is already gone, it sure makes the year seem short, doesn't it! Thanks.

Love the boid, Ginnie...and the reflections!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ray.
I am wondering who stole January!!!

Beautiful photo smile
Ginnie Hart: I know, Cherry. I know! Thank you.
This is a really gorgeous image - love the position of his wings... love the water...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you very much, Elizabeth. I took this from the living room of a friend's houseboat way across the lake and was happy it turned out.
Wonderfully captured Ginnie! I love the ripples.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Richard.
J'aime quand ils mettent leurs ailes en forme de cœur.

Heavens - I'd forgotten it's February!

Lovely picture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Chris. It's February. And when you realize there are only 12 months in a year, with one now already gone, the year suddenly seems much shorter.

The reflections are stunning, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear, Lisl. I was so glad this came out--from the living room of a friend's houseboat across the lake.

This is so wonderful, a swan to has has something majestic. At such a far distance this came out wonderful. (35 months to retirement).......
Fabulous picture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. That was the day we were with Wil on her houseboat!
how very marcie scudder of you!! i love swans, even when they bite my hand lol they have sharp little teeth! lovely picture, my friend...
Ginnie Hart: It's funny but I never once thought of Marcie when I took/processed this, Elaine. Interesting. I was just glad it came out from across the lake while I stood in the living room of a friend's houseboat. smile

I have never been bitten by a swan...and trust I never will be...but am sorry you experienced that.
January didn't seem to last long but this is a nice way to start February
Ginnie Hart: I told Astrid that when a year is only 12 months long and one month is already gone, the year quickly seems shorter!

magnifique prise
JP
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
Already February!
How did I spend my January?!
Ginnie Hart: I know. It's a question we're all asking, I'm sure, LC!
A fine photo too Ginnie. Poor Astrid and her lappytoppy, please tell her that I liked her padlock photo and I hope her machine will soon be back to full health.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chad, and yes, poor Astrid. This is the same virus she got while in America last October that Norman had to fix...but missed this time. She will tell the techie guys that they need to have Norman take over her laptop to see what's going on! It's ridiculous that they didn't catch it this time.
tres belle prise et traitement! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
Look at those opening wings. Gorgeous model for Miss February.
Ginnie Hart: Miss February. I like that, Mary. smile
I like the wings being held at the classic angle.
Ginnie Hart: I agree, Brian. Swans always seem to know what to do. smile
Swan Lake,
Ginnie Hart: Perfect, Martin!

I like the patterns shown by the ripples. I think that swan is off to look for January.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Louis. I think a lot of us are looking back to see where it went!

February is usually our coldest month but is looks for the next week... three of the days will be around -8C....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. Astrid says there's still time for us to get some winter...but right now we're still hovering between 40-50 F. (sigh)
