Ginnie Hart: What have you been drinking, Ms. Elaine???? grin But aw shucks anyway!
it looks so peaceful seeing the horses silhouettes meandering back to the barn at the end of the day....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: It really WAS peaceful, Peter! Thank you.
What a lovely capture - the silhouettes against that sky! Yummy!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. It's fun, isn't it.

We had one of the best sunsets in one of the best locations we possible could be... We walked the grounds of the ice age, ions ago.... Fabulous picture. Love the silhouettes.
Ginnie Hart: I'll never forget that walk, MLMA. When we exited the "ice age" forest before it got too dark, we started breathing again. HA! Thank you.

Fabulous! Love the silhouettes. Also just the hint of red in the sky. A top shot.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Alan. Wednesday's image follows on this, when the hint of red becomes totally spectacular.

a wonderful atmosphere- yes, the horses are still out as I could see yesterday, but some are covered with a cloth despite the too mild winter.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. This was the day before we met up with you and Mechtild, so you know that even then it was still too warm for this time of the year.
Wonderfully done Ginnie! I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
It looks very tranquil to me Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Bill, it was. smile
I am pleased that we are past the dark pointing and heading back to the light Ginnie. For me it feels as if New Year has been and gone.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, that's true, Chad, when you think of the Winter Solstice just past. Good way to see it. The new year is well on its way!
The thick atmosphere is reminiscent of a soft blanket. Beautiful shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Nice way to put it, Mary. Thank you.

You mean the Dutch get restless? Must be a very special event, like oud en nieuw, when they fire off millions of fireworks.

Poor horses.
Ginnie Hart: The fireworks began a couple weeks ago, Louis. I can just imagine what they'll be like in these next few days! Not something I grew up with at New Years, I might add...just at our American 4th of July.
What a tremendous image, surely one to put on the wall, unless of course Wednesdays is even more spectacular.
Ginnie Hart: You're a sweetheart, Brian. Thank you. (I'll let you decide on Wednesday...!)
So peaceful...beautiful scene!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. As long as they don't hear the fireworks, they're fine....!
Lovely silhouettes - great sky!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Tom.

Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Cherry.
That is a very peaceful scene.

I hope you and your true love have a very happy and healthy New Year!
Ginnie Hart: How very kind of you, Michael. THANK YOU. (She really IS my true love!)

Joli contre-jour. Les chevaux se découpent comme des ombres chinoises.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Martine.
