yepper!! let's go hug trees and thank Him for them!!! nice shot, my friend! do we talk this week?
Ginnie Hart: I can think of worse things to do than hugging trees, Elaine! Not a bad idea. (And no, it's NEXT week.)
Yes, let us! Wonderful find, Ginnie !
Ginnie Hart: It was even better once I figured out the translation, Elizabeth! Thank you.
That is wonderful.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Michael. Thank you.

This is what I also like of the English Churches, all those pillows/kneelers with all kind of design. Great find. Love the colour of the wood.
Ginnie Hart: You know I "collect" these, MLMA, but this one seemed extra special. Thank you.
What a wonderful find Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Richard. Thank you.

And somebody requires a special seat to do this thing Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Yes, I suppose so, Chris?

I am sad, I 'm not in the mood to "exultemus ...". A fine chair for the reverend or Bishop.
Ginnie Hart: I understand about not being in the mood, Philine. But it's like so many other things...like love and being thankful and not fearing. We do it when we least feel like it?

The seat looks far more comfortable than those it its right! Mind you, I would not fancy trying to move this far! You got far more useful shots from Salisbury Cathedral than I did sad
Ginnie Hart: I suppose you mean the seats to the left, Alan? And if so, you've just tickled me because Astrid does that all the time and I have to pay attention. HA!

I have a feeling you did just fine with the shots you got from that day. We are different witnesses to the same events/places all around us, which is part of the beauty of photography!

The words of the prayers are everywhere
Ginnie Hart: Yes, they are, Pat.
That's nice Ginnie, and then someone plonks their bottom on it!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Chad! smile
What a lovely little chair Ginnie, set apart from the rest. Nicely presented
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet. It does seem to be set apart quite nicely. smile

Quid quid latinae dictum set, altrum sonar.

Whatever is said in latin sounds profound.
Ginnie Hart: Isn't that the truth, Louis! smile And to think I even took two years of Latin in high school. I wonder if they even teach it there anymore??
Glad you worked out the translation for us.
Ginnie Hart: I had to look it up, Mary, just for you. smile
This is most unusual, these things don't usually have words on, particularly in Latin.
Ginnie Hart: It was a real joy to find and then research the meaning, Brian! smile
extra ce suiège! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, JP. Thanks.
I had a bit of Latin beaten into me at school, so it is appropriate to see the fine words on a cushion.
Ginnie Hart: I had two years of Latin in high school, Martin. I wonder if they even teach it anymore??? smile
Translates as Come for a kingsize Domino's Pizza ...product placement is everywhere Ginnie grin
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Bill!
So appropriate.
Ginnie Hart: I thought so, too, Robin. It's when we least want to sing that we must!
lovely text, Ginnie. well spotted.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.

Wonderful smile

I didn't notice it on my visit last year ;-)
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling you saw a lot I totally missed, Cherry! That's the wonder of these huge cathedrals. You could go back several times and still miss something!
