Yup.  It's Monday.  Time to light up your fire.

great imagination framing the just the top of the teepee with the smoke coming out of it Ginnie....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. I figured everyone would know what it was. smile
I love the composition, Ginnie! Better light a fire under me in about 11 hours... back at it!! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. It's time for us NOW! smile

Are those red rags the celebrated goose's bridle, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: It makes me think that they get tired of removing the flags from when they transport the poles, Ray, and have decided to just leave them on (hoping no one will notice). smile
What a wonderful composition Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

I like your idea to start the Monday always in an original way with a photo and a good saying!
Ginnie Hart: That's very kind of you, Philine. Thank you.

WOW, great detail and very recognizable. Those red flags might be 'weathervanes.... to know from which side the wind comes and where the smoke goes.....
Love it and we had a great time at the fair.
Ginnie Hart: You may be right about the flags, MLMA. Hmmm. Good idea. I just hope they never catch on fire! smile
On dirait un tipi qui a perdu sa toile.
Ginnie Hart: Trust me, Martine, it was all there. smile

Clever you, to focus just on the top, and to find an apt comment, too
Ginnie Hart: When I looked up and saw the smoke, Lisl, I really hoped the photo "took," so I was happy it did. smile Thank you.
Hahaha very good Ginnie. It is a dull grey day and I have mucky jobs to do outside!
Ginnie Hart: Our weather must be tracking each other, Bill. The same here...except no mucky jobs to do outside.
belle compo! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Merci, JP.
No smoke without fire must be one of the earliest sayings that I learnt Ginnie. We have been lighting our fire at home and the smoke is very clear outside.
Ginnie Hart: I can just imagine how cozy your domicile must be right now, Chad. I can feel it!

Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, JP. grin
Some Mondays are harder than others.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Mary. I know.

I can't light the fire; my matches are damp from a weekend of rain sad Naturally now being a WORK day, the sun is out! I like the tipi here (although never fancy sleeping on one).
Ginnie Hart: You sound like Astrid, Alan, when she bemoans the fact that the sun is out on the days when she works and not on the days she's off. (sigh) I totally get it for you both!

I like your POV, quite atmospheric
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Anne. It was only the smoke rising that really grabbed me in that moment. smile
...there's a tepee?
Ginnie Hart: HA! In this case, yes, Tom. smile
Sitting Bull him feel cold .
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love it, Martin. smile
I like the picture, but tell me, is the proper name for these things wigwam or teepee, or are they two different things.
Ginnie Hart: I grew up calling them teepees, Brian, but I also thought of a wigwam as the alternative name. Who knows for sure?!
today it is somewhat nippy outside, so the warmth of a fire would be much appreciated, Ginnie. great shot from Georgia.
Ginnie Hart: Astrid says it'll start getting colder and colder now, Ayush, so a fire in the teepee actually sounds good. smile
A fun one! Aren't we the fortunate ones that don't have to have our fire lit to face a Monday!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. I couldn't have said it better. smile
That is very nice. You made a good choice isolating the detail.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
