Did they sound like they knew what they were doing with that fine work, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Ray. They clearly have been around the block more than once! smile
A very nice shot, Ginnie! I do like that pieces!
Ginnie Hart: I sang that requiem back in my second year of marriage to Bill, Elizabeth. No gray hairs then....

Most of them were grey-geezers, it was good to see that also some younger people were around. Great observation and picture. I hope that the man on the left knows that on a black suit 'everything' shows....
Ginnie Hart: From our vantage point, it was quite amusing to me, MLMA, even though there were many younger ones present. As you know, I considered cloning out the dandruff (?) but decided against it.
Very nicely observed and captured Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Richard.

Oh, the male choir singers are especially welcomed! You surely did enjoy this music.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Philine. You are right. Surely these men aren't a dying breed!

A fine study in concentration Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It's funny how you can tell something by the backs of their heads, Chris, isn't it!

You're just reminded me that I am overdue for a hair cut! I had already lanned that for today in any case. I can imagine that even the rehearsal was very special in such a setting. I've been to rehearsals of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City; that is special, too.
Ginnie Hart: LOL about reminding you of getting your hair cut, Alan. smile It was quite serendipitous to just happen upon this rehearsal, which was open to anyone to either join or to watch and listen. We did the latter for 30 minutes...even though I had sung this requiem in my past life, back in 1971. Those were the days!
I like the huddled position of the grey hairs that you've captured here, Ginnie. Were they sharing the same music sheet?
Ginnie Hart: I think maybe every two of them may have been sharing, Beverly, but it does look like quite the huddle, doesn't it. smile
love all the various hair textures!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Robin. smile
Still going strong through thick and thin Ginnie. Nicely observed and captured
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet. I sang Mozart's Requiem back in 1971 when I was 25, so this gave me a smile. smile
excellent cadrage!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, JP.

Bien vu
JP
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
A great singsong:
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes!
Nice point of view Ginnie... the grey haired gents are the only ones who remember the words and the melody to the Mozart Requiem by heart....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Well, actually, they were poring over their books like hawks, Peter. smile
A very fine shot Ginnie, all the 'old fellers' in the back row, like where I stand these days! I seem to recall singing this Requiem many years ago shortly after joining the mixed choir I used to be in.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. I knew you'd be able to relate. smile

They look very intent on their art smile
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Cherry. They've been around the block once or twice!
A very nice shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Roland.
you've got a great moment, Ginnie. they look similar and yet so different
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush. The same and yet different. Different and yet the same. That's who we all are, if we would but remember!
