Coming Home

By hook or by crook...we should be back home this afternoon after last night's flight to London,

followed by a flight to Amsterdam and the drive home today.

We'll be back in gear in no time!

Fabulous picture and it was a fun place to visit. Asmost 2 hours from flying. Vacation is good but coming home is also good.
Ginnie Hart: The cars and penny farthing were at the airplane museum. HA! It was indeed a fun place. And now I'm very ready to fly home....!
Love that big wheel in the middle...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. I do, too. It's got to count for something. smile

Love all the shine, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Old-timely shine is the best, Ray, isn't it! smile
Wonderful shot, Ginnie!! Glad you're back on... You should be home soon - safe travels, settle in and we'll "see" you! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Elizabeth. I'm replying to this while at London Heathrow. We're almost home!

Bon voyage Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. I'm writing this while in your fair country, at London Heathrow. Astrid and I are both waving!

How long would last your travel if you had to use these vehiceles! A wonderful photograph!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Philine. The funny thing is that these relics were in an airport museum. smile
Have a safe journey. Wave as you pass over Droitwich grin
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Bill. We've just gone through security at London Heathrow and are now waiting for our 12:40 plane to Amsterdam. We're almost home!

You must have mixed feelings; leaving your family after a few weeks together but then you can't beat home and, importantly, your bed! I would not like to ride that penny farthing nor to have to keep those cars clean smile
Ginnie Hart: Mixed feelings, indeed, Alan. But it is, in fact, always good to go back home. Funny how important that is!
belle composition! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, JP.
Lovely image you have taken Ginnie and hope you had a safe journey home. You will be tired now of course, but then you are used to that.
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Chad, we've just gone through security at Heathrow and are now waiting for our 12:40 flight to Amsterdam. We're almost home. Yes, we're used to it by now. You, too, of course. smile
Have a safe trip Ginnie! Welcome back. Lovely picture BTW.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Richard. We're at London Heathrow right now, waiting for our 12:40 plane to Amsterdam. Then the drive home!
It will be good to be home and in your own bed.
Ginnie Hart: You've got that right, Mary!

The tyre of this car won't pass 'go' with our traffic police. Except if you happened to drop a €20 note, which he can pick up on your behalf.
Ginnie Hart: HA! It's probably good we flew, then, Louis?! smile
Safe travels!!!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. We're now back home safe-n-sound.
Challenging but elegant times
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Martin.
By the time you read this you should be safely back home, almost the first thing we do after getting back is a) put the kettle on and b) look at the mail, are we out of the ordinary? Anyway I love the old stuff in this picture, how did they manage to ride those bikes.
Ginnie Hart: We are indeed back home, safe-n-sound, Brian, and have all our suitcases unpacked and mostly put away. Tomorrow will be the grocery shopping!
A good one to travel back with Ginnie. Looks like you had a wonderful time
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Janet, and yes, indeed! It's always good to be with the family, even if only once a year.
Wonderful shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Roland.
i love these classic vehicles and the penny-farthing against the back wall...
welcome home and i hope that you and Astrid had a wonderful time in Atlanta....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. It was a great trip and we thoroughly enjoyed being with the kids. But it's always good to come back home...where we now are!
It'll be hard work if you use the penny-farthing smile
Ginnie Hart: Hard but fun...for the first minute or two, Tom. smile

I hope you had a safe journey home smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Cherry, and we did! We even had a great first day after arriving home. Don't you love how quickly we get back into the swing of things. smile

JP
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, JP. I do, too. smile
Do you get a bit of rest time when you get home? ... That bike is amazing in the shot.
Ginnie Hart: Astrid doesn't go back to work till next Tuesday, so a big, resounding YES to extra days of rest for her!
