Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. I was quite captivated by the details. My guess is they don't make them like this anymore?!

They made a great design with making this sail. Some parts always needs to be done by hand. It looks like a seal just above the waves smile..
Ginnie Hart: Nothing like the good, ol' fashioned way of doing things...like they were meant to be done! Bedankt, MLMSA.
the first boat friday shot i ever liked lol looks kinda soft and luxurious to me smile the material of the sail.
Ginnie Hart: I wasn't able to touch it, Elaine, so I don't know how soft it is. But I'm sure it could withstand a mighty gale! So glad it didn't scare you. smile
Beautiful composition. I like this theme
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie.
Isn't that wonderful? I love the attention paid - by the seamstress and you!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. They just don't make them like this anymore, I'm sure!

Now there's a labour of love. I can't see any of the racing yachts having such finery, though wink
Ginnie Hart: It does appear to be a thing of the past, Alan! (sigh)
