Poor old farmer has forgotten where his hayshed is...
Ginnie Hart: Could be, Ray. smile
Nice find for a photo!! And yes - sometimes it's necessary! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth, and yes.

There is a time for everything, even if there is no time at all.
The farmer got the straw in in time before the rain. Great shot.
Ginnie Hart: There is always time but we usually have to go hunt for it! smile Bedankt, MLMA.

Oh, on last Sunday I saw some vehicles of the farmers just in this way - in Nederland and in Germany - even on Sunday they are allowed to work and bring in the harvest.
Ginnie Hart: I love seeing these tractors with their hay loads, Philine. I always pray for a good harvest.

I am struck by all the flowers in that meadow, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Isn't it wonderful, Lisl. I love these scenes while we drive out-n-about through the polder.

The tractor just has to be ORANGE doesn't it Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: YES, of course, Chris. HA! I suppose that's why it caught my eye!

Good plan; A siesta under the tree on the left would be my idea.

Let's hope he does not leave his load of straw too long, though; it could get wet. We've had a lot of rain this week.
Ginnie Hart: We've had a lot of rain, too, Alan, so my guess is this hay has long since been stored away!

Beautiful and attractive summer photo
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. I love being so close to this kind of summer life near where we live.
Quite a nice colourful coupling in the meadow Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. It definitely caught my eye!
That colour is so Dutchy. smile
Ginnie Hart: HUP HOLLAND HUP! grin

Hello Ginnie
The vacation is finished for me !! reprise
like everywhere I see that we returned the straw after the harvest !! a lot of work in the fields! beautiful week
Ginnie Hart: So good to see you back, Pat. I'm sure you'll be showing us many gems from your time away!
When it is noon on a farm, everything stops. The big noon meal is the main meal of the day.
Ginnie Hart: Now that makes sense, Mary!!
And why not, lunch in the countryside, even if it is at work, must be so much nicer than being in a city.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Brian!

It's time for lunch!
Ginnie Hart: Exactly!

Koffietijd is very important.
Ginnie Hart: And tea time, too, Louis. This is something I'm starting to get used to!
it's a great shot Ginnie... but i would still love to see the hay being pulled by a on a wooden cart by a draft horse....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter, but you might have to drive to Amish territory in the States for that!

The disheveled stacking is quaint wink
Ginnie Hart: It's fun, Cherry, isn't it!
Indeed, you have that right. GOod capture.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jacquelyn. Just seeing spots like this calms me down. smile
So true! That would make such a great card!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Robin. I love scenes like this at this favorite time of the year!
