You are so right, Ginnie - and I can recognise her! Do pamper her - and she has a free day as I recall!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, she has a free day today, Philine (in fact, she's had 4 in a row!). She's one very happy camper. smile Thank you.

Thank you, MLS. Their white colours stood out to the pond.
We don't see these birds too often.
Great shot.
Ginnie Hart: They were there just for you, MLMA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
An American gull among the Dutch spoonbills? He he... I know how you feel sometimes. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, true, Astrid would be the spoonbill facing us (not asleep!) and I would be the gull. smile
One bird has you transfixed in its gaze, is that the message.
Ginnie Hart: Could be, Martin! smile
Nice capture of them Ginnie. One of them seems to have knee pads on
Ginnie Hart: HA! Good way to describe them, Janet. smile Thanks.
A great shot for a great event Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. I thought so, too. smile

A lovely tribute, but is she like a gull? I did hear her shouting for Jeroen on the video, but it sounded civilized smile Treat her extra good on this day ...
Ginnie Hart: I think I'M the gull, Louis and she's the spoonbill looking at the camera! smile
I'd love to see one of those for real, most unusual looking characters.
Ginnie Hart: Very fun to see, Brian. I took this from the car quite far away and saw it was a spoonbill after getting it up on the big screen. smile

Now that's waht I do on my birthday; tuck my head under my wing and hope it goes away smile One is on guard duty, though, and checking that the seagull does not push them over wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Sounds very sensible to me, Alan. smile
they are not all quite alert yet, Ginnie, are they?
Ginnie Hart: Just the one who's paying attention to all the shenanigans, Ayush. smile

Great capture Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Anne.
I do like this photo with the headless birds and the unique, one of a kind friend to all. who?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Mary. Who?
I like the idea of a black headed gull pretending to be a spoonbill :-0
Ginnie Hart: HA! I know! Friends of a feather stick together.... smile
That is excellent. Give your love a hug from British Columbia, Canada.
Ginnie Hart: Awww. So sweet of you, Michael. Thank you!

Very attractive this group of spatulas in the toilet. The small gull brings its personal touch to the set.
Ginnie Hart: I love these spoonbills, Marie. We don't get to see them very often but when we do, we always stop to look! I think the gull was as curious as we were!
Sorry to be so behind! But I'm positive it was a wonderful celebration! Love this image!
Ginnie Hart: You're never behind, Robin...just extending the celebration! smile Thank you.
