Fine shot, Ginnie.

Is this two Wise Old Blokes checking out the baby whilst the third is having smoko?
Ginnie Hart: You just never know about these things, Ray. Sometimes you're surprised by who shows up!
Love how you frame this!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Robin.
Oh that's beautiful! I love your tones, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth.

What a wonderful presentation and it is amazing how the 'statues' have so much details. Love the symmetry and the colours.
Great title, I think only few will know it is also the name of a game. (I did not) https://eternity.obsidian.net/news/update-71-the-heavy-hitters-rogues-and-rangers-
Ginnie Hart: When I found out there is a gamer's game with this title on the internet, I had to use it. I had first started out with Pillars of the Church. When you think about ALL the bits-n-bobs like this one frieze, all over the cathedral, you marvel at how it's possible one building could have SO MUCH. It still blows my mind.

A wonderful photo! Fine treatment!
Yes, Victorian sculptures - Madonna with the Christ-child, adored by the angels.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. I'm most curious about those 4 pillars and wonder if there's significance more than meets the eye?

Yes, the numbers 4,3, 2 have spiritual meaning, but here they emphasise the composition.
Ginnie Hart: Ahhh. That makes sense, Philine. Bedankt.

You have brought out the detail so well - and the colours are great
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Lisl. You realize how these cathedrals are so foreign to us Americans!

You see details that I miss. As someone once said: "I have sight but no vision."
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Alan, but I have a feeling you saw twice as much as I did the entire day!
You must love this cathedral a lot.
I think Norwich Cathedral is equally impressive. Plus, it's free to visit the cathedral. Google its images and add it to your bucket list.
Ginnie Hart: It's just that I took a lot of wonderful photos there, LC, and surely will do it at every other cathedral I see the rest of my life. Seriously. And when you mention "free," I always sit up and take notice. smile Thanks.
This is one very good thing about cameras Ginnie, you can really see the various features on cathedrals which often get overlooked.
Ginnie Hart: So true, Chad. That's one of the reasons why I take a lot of photos...so that I can see the details later after I'm gone!
The detail is amazing. Look at the chains two are holding. Wonderful!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Mary. Those "chains" are holding the incense, I assume. Good eye!

That is really beautiful, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Pauline.
Just magnificent
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Marie.
Very fine work isn't it. I've started looking up at these things over doors and have several coming up quite soon.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Brian. "Always look up" is one of my mantras, as you know. smile
Beautifully captured and presented Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Janet.
You have captured something wonderful...
Ginnie Hart: That's very kind of you, Larry. Thanks.
Norwich is only free in theory.....grin

Salisbury is beautiful and this is a fine detail you have shown Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I sucked at theory, Bill....and Salisbury was totally worth the fee! Thanks.
A fine piece of work!
Ginnie Hart: It actually is, Tom! Thanks.
That is excellent.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Michael.
A perfect title for your image too.
Ginnie Hart: Very kind of you, Jacquelyn. Thank you.
