A Mid-Week Break

Kick up your heels and have some fun.

(seen on a mannequin curbside in Geertruidenberg, NL)

You can see the rest of the manikin on Astrid's post.

She's ready for a night on the town, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Dressed in my color red, Ray: ORANGE!
I'd say it might be difficult to match these up with an outfit!
But considering the condition of the rest of her.... smile

Nice close up Ginnie!!!
Ginnie Hart: All that matters is the color ORANGE, Elizabeth. It's my favorite color and I would make sure they matched something...if I ever wore heels again. HA!
Love the color.
Ginnie Hart: My favorite, Michael, and why this caught my eye. Thanks.

I bet Queen Maxima would love to own such a pair. The shoes will match perfect with the tie of her husband: King Willem-Alexander.

Great close-up of the shoes smile
Ginnie Hart: Queen Maxima would LOVE such a pair of heels, if she doesn't already have the color, MLMA. Thanks for the link to their visit to my home state of Michigan. I am so proud of the Dutch King and Queen!!! smile
this is not half as scary as Astrid's was Ginnie... having fun....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: HA! I usually leave the scary stuff to Astrid, Peter. grin
Great fun capture Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. It really caught my eye because of the color. smile

You could have fooled me, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: We can always fool some of the people some of the time, Lisl. grin
Hahaha... I also liked it that both you and Astrid have posts based on those orange shoes.
Ginnie Hart: We love to share our different takes on a subject whenever it's possible, Jacquelyn. It's fun. smile Thanks.
the mannequin has ballerina feet smile and those shoes are just too too lol i love this shot
Ginnie Hart: The color orange of these shoes just totally made my day, Elaine! smile Thanks.
Happy feet!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Bill. I should have mentioned that they were celebrating your birthday today! smile

Dutch colours I see! I wonder if there is any connection with the winter screenwash?
Ginnie Hart: Definitely Dutch colors, Alan, but I bet no connection whatsoever with the winter screen-wash. smile
They look like they're ready to go. Look forward to seeing Astrid's
Ginnie Hart: Hot to trot, Janet. grin

Being the color of Holland is important !! Have a good day Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: My favorite color, Pat. smile
Well you are in the right place for the colour, Ginnie...smile
Ginnie Hart: You got that right, Frank. smile
She looks as stiff as I do (rain, low pressure system) but it is a good way to loosen up.
Ginnie Hart: Give her a few minutes and she'll be off to the races, Mary. grin
Very Dutch instead!
So is your hair, G! wink

>He turns 15 in July and will fly over to visit us from Atlanta for 2 weeks. YAY.

Oh, and you're taking him to visit Cornwall as his b-day present? wink I know you too well! He he...
Ginnie Hart: HA! You know too much, LC. grin

Actually, we do plan to take Nicholas to Brussels, just for the halibut (and to say he went to more than one country, of course). Too bad we can't take him over to England...but we'll have more than enough to keep us busy here! HA!
jolie chaussures pour ce manequin!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Dutch orange shoes, JP, to be exact. smile
nice one Ginnie! not too keen on heels
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky...and I haven't owned a pair since 1994!
Orange of course is the Dutch national colour I believe.
Ginnie Hart: Bingo, Brian. It also, conveniently, is my favorite color. smile

She certainly appears as if she might have a spring in her step (though having seen Astrid's picture, I realise this is not the case!)
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes you have to get the whole story to get the right impression, Anne, right?! smile
Nice pair of shoes!
Ginnie Hart: I don't wear heels anymore, Tom, but if I did, I'd choose these. smile

I need my sunglasses to look at those ;-)
Ginnie Hart: HA! That's a good one, Cherry. smile
Shoes like that seem like a very painful way to walk. Very nice shot.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Michael. I haven't owned a pair since 1994!
