That is gorgeous in black and white.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. Actually, the color was quite nice, too.
i certainly would want to do it Ginnie... won't you join me for a treat at the counter....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Peter. Those stools were very inviting to me as we sat at our lunch table.
Temptation...temptation...What a superb image Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Yielding to temptation in moderation isn't going to hurt anyone at this counter, right, Richard? smile

Koeienhemel is een grappige naam voor een restaurant! Ik zie dat ook de mensen welkom zijn.
Ginnie Hart: There were cows everywhere, Philine, even on the lady's blouse. smile It was a fun place to eat. Bedankt.

I can feel the temptation Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, Chris, after taking this from my seat at the lunch table, I never went to see what was offered as we left. If it had been scones, I would have been terribly tempted!!!

I remember 'De Koeienhemel' from my youth. Not the inside of course but the name... Cows Heaven smile
A wonderful B&W, very inviting and by experience we know that the people are nice and the food is good.
Ginnie Hart: Everything about this place was fun and memorable, MLMA. And that fabulous church was right across the street!
what a cool place smile
Ginnie Hart: It really was, Joshi. Thanks.

Cake and coffee seems like a good idea, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: What's so funny, Ray, is that when the Dutch have their koffie break, often with appelgebak (apple pie and whipped cream), they do NOT think of it as dessert. That still mystifies me...but makes it easier to indulge while we're out-n-about. smile

You seem to be a fan of these places, Ginnie!!
Ginnie Hart: Whenever we are out on our photo hunts, Lisl, we always stop somewhere for lunch. It ends up usually as another photo op. smile

oh yes, wish i was there now, celebrating the Israel elections smile
Ginnie Hart: So, I had to go Google who won..... (sigh)
It does look very tempting Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: As I just told Ray, when the Dutch have their koffie break, often with appelgebak (apple pie and whipped cream), they do NOT think of it as dessert. That still mystifies me...but makes it easier to indulge while we're out-n-about. smile
I have cabin fever and work I need to do. I got cleaned out only last night from Sun/Monday's storm and there is another starting in a couple of hours. I may not get home from work.
Ginnie Hart: Oh my, Mary. It sounds like YOU need a break!!
Hmm... Really?
Can I have my cake and eat it? smile
Ginnie Hart: Yes, LC. You can have your cake and eat it, too! smile

Cow's heaven and they have girls working there? And female customer's? Heh, heh ...
Great shot and now you have reminded me, I still have birthday cake left smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Birthday cake for the birthday boy. Have at it, Louis. smile

Quick little break !!! rustic black and white, I like!
Ginnie Hart: A quick break is better than none at all, Pat. smile Thanks.
An inviting looking place Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: It was delightful, Janet. smile
excellent noir et blanc!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
I think I rather fancy a visit to this eating place even if I can't understand the menu.
Ginnie Hart: You'd at least be able to understand what you see, Brian. smile
The only Dutch I ever learned was something like, Twee koffie en tompoussen alstublieft smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! That'll go a long way, Tom! grin

I see CAAKKKEEE!!! Also something about Texel sheep(?). Definitely my sort of place smile
Ginnie Hart: Good eyes, Alan! They serve Texels beer there from Texel Island, which is just to the north of there from Den Helder, 15 miles away. Needless to say, we drank that beer with our lunch...something you can't get all over the country. And yes, they have lots of sheep on Texel Island. smile
I would gladly perch on a stool and order anything going Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I'm sure you would, Chad, along with the rest of us, it seems. smile

Ooo I could just be stepping in there and ordering a coffee (and maybe .. some yummy cake)
Ginnie Hart: After a nice bike ride, Anne, I'm sure this would be just what the doctor ordered. smile
Perfect for b&w! Would so love to be sitting on that stool with you two and enjoying whatever it is under that cake holder! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Robin. Isn't it about time for another trip back to our part of the world???

Here is the beautiful black and a white who opens me the appetite.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. That's a beautiful way to say it.
Time to sit down...
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Larry!
Oh yah! Great mid-week break shot, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: HA! Thanks for popping up again, Elizabeth! I assume all is well on your side of the Pond right now?
