i love it Ginnie... the only sand that have seen since Nov. is what they spread on the roadsgrin

Ginnie Hart: Seeing and hearing the sea like this is not something I experience often, Peter, so when I do, I'm in heaven.

did you take off yer shoes? i love walking barefoot on a beach, we live 5 min away from a nice ocean beach, soon will be the season! really nice pick me up picture!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elaine. No, we did not take off our shoes. For one, it was very blustery cold! For two, I had already been warned by Eline, my physical therapist, to NOT walk in the sand, as it would be a huge strain on my knee. But I did walk on a bit of it and was just fine. Seeing it was enough, to be honest. I was in heaven.

Nothing beats a nice walk at the beach. Soon that will happen again. A great shot of the high tide and the protecting dunes.
Ginnie Hart: Even though we didn't stay long, MLMA, I had enough of a thrill to last a long time!
Wonderful Ginnie! I wish I was having a walk there!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. It definitely stirred and warmed my soul that day!

One of your best, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Very kind of you, Lisl. (It sometimes shocks me to hear when someone says that!)

Oh, I can feel the wind and the atmospere at the North Sea. Your photo reminds me me of our stay at Zeeland last autumn.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. It does have its own special, magical feel to it, doesn't it. Next time I want to just sit there for awhile and absorb more of it!

Just the place for an evening stroll. I get the feeling you need to be wrapped up, though.
Ginnie Hart: Correct on both counts, Alan. My physical therapist warmed me about the sand, however, saying it would stress out my knee too much. So we didn't spend a lot of time there...besides it's being blustery cold!

You cannot beat the bracing sea air to improve your feelings Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I couldn't agree with you more, Sr. Chad!

It hasn't quite got the feel of summer yet, has it Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: Not quite yet, Chris. But it's time will surely come.

Fine and restful scene, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: What is it about the big water, Ray, that keeps drawing us....?
The only thing I miss living in Worcestershire is being near to the sea.
Ginnie Hart: For how close it is to us, Bill, we really should go more often!

Nice walk in the dunes !
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Pat! We didn't spend much time there because we wanted to go check out something with the car before it got dark. But it was worth stopping to see this.

Lovely shot Ginnie, I feel I am about to turn the corner with you. The tiny touches of blue and yellow bring the shot alive.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mike. That yellow and blue trash was actually a bit of a play on words with my pick-it-up line. smile
Looks so cold and dark...
Not like Hawaii at all. wink
Ginnie Hart: HA! Not like Hawaii at all, LC, where I've been a couple times. To be honest, I quite like the "colder" part better. smile

Ginnie Hart: I'm not sure anyone got it, Mike, which has kept me smiling all day. smile

Ginnie Hart: The best kind of beach, JP! Merci.
What no snow? Just kidding. I want to be there. We got 48 cm yesterday and it is not over yet.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, Mary. Are you kidding me???? Man alive. Enough already!

Magnifique prise, inspire la solitude, le retrait.
Ginnie Hart: I do believe we were all meant to go down to the sea from time to time, Sabrina, because of how it heals us!
This is so much like parts of the coast in our counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire, the other side of the North Sea from you.
Ginnie Hart: It's something I need to visit more often, Brian, especially since it's not that far away from us! Consider that we're waving to you every time you stand at your beaches there! smile
Oh just to be barefoot and walk in that sand! Beautiful!
Ginnie Hart: I know, Robin...even if it's freezing cold! Thanks.

The sand looks so warm and inviting smile
Ginnie Hart: It actually was very cold and blustery, Cherry, but still very inviting!
Fine details...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Larry.
That is a great view. It looks chilly, somehow.
Ginnie Hart: It's a great view AND very chilly, Michael. BINGO. Thanks.
