Ginniefied magic!
Ginnie Hart: HA! If you say so, Ray. grin
You need some of our weather here in Arizona! 80 plus degrees! Love the image! xo
Ginnie Hart: Do you know, Robin, that we almost NEVER get up to 80 degrees here even in the summer time! That's actually one of the things I most love about the Netherlands...cool! smile

i'm safe and warm and tired... going to go to bed at a decent hour i think, spent all day publishing that children's book, i need one of those boats to rock me to sleep smile
Ginnie Hart: Lullaby and Good Night, Elaine. Hope you're having sweet dreams as we speak.
A Lovely Lovely Image!!!
I'll be staying warm... and going out dancing with Annette tomorrow night - If I can't be with Frank - it's the next best thing! smile
Ginnie Hart: You're very lucky to have true love AND loyal friends, Elizabeth. You deserve both. Have fun. Thanks.
That is nice. You have a good eye for processing.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
What a beautiful shot framed through the mast and boom of the closer boat Ginnie... i love your treatment...

mention to Astrid that i have a special boat that she might likesmile

....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: You know the Dutch, Peter, and their boats. I have grown to love them! And, yes, Astrid and I have both seen your special tall ship!

Beautiful tones of pink and perspective. I like this composition.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. All I remember is that it was freezing cold, with the wind whipping around the harbor of the North Sea delta.

Funny you should say that Ginnie, I've just been outside to find the temperature has risen considerably. It looks cold here in Veere
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Chris, the temp has hovered around 40F for almost a week now, so we're probably similar to yours there. This day, however, (Dec. 1), it was so cold we had to leave the harbor for the safety of the buildings nearby.

Wonderful picture and I love all the lines.
It was cold indeed but a wonderful day out.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, MLMA. I remember that we couldn't stand there at the harbor for long! But it was, indeed, beautiful.
A wonderful and magical image with your secret processing Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: How kind of you, Richard. I'm not sure how "secret" it is but I sure have fun trying to see what will happen. HA!
A very pleasing picture Ginnie. A fine composition with lots of depth
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

How clever you are, Ginnie, to achieve this effect
Ginnie Hart: I have no clue what I did, Lisl, but at this point I was satisfied. I guess, in the end, that's all that matters? smile Thank you.

A fine spectacle despite the weather. Your processing makes it feel cold, too smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Alan. It was the coldest I've been in a long time. Seriously.

Classic boat Friday material, very good.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Mike. We're never at a loss for material here in Dutchland!
I miss Flemish gables to much, G!
Of course, the canals too.
Ginnie Hart: They grow on you, LC, don't they!
I like the warm processing and the fine collection of masts.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. There's always something related to boats to be found here where we live!
A fine shot, this Power shot camera is doing you proud.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. I LOVE this little camera. smile

Superb framing, light, that you were able to translate and that it feels good in Holland !!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Pat. It was very cold but I stayed there long enough to get off a couple shots...before getting to safety between the buildings. smile
beautiful treatment here Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Ronky.
Just as you say about my shots they are so English there is no doubting that this is very, very Dutch, I love it.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Brian, I know you're right! I love it...the distinctions between our countries.
A beautiful Dutch Boat Friday Ginnie. Have a great weekend
Ginnie Hart: It's hard to beat a Dutch Boat Friday, Janet, unless one of you English come up with your own treasures! smile
composition, couleurs et perspective extra!! amitiés

Your treatment really catches the chilliness of the weather. Great shot. Happy weekend!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Anne. We were really glad to leave the harbor after we got off our shots. It was much "warmer" between the buildings on the side streets.
Lovely shot, could have been taken at any time in the last 100 years.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Tom. That's one of the things I love about Europe!

It's cold there too, eh? We are at about -30C here ... and it's suppose to get worse.

Hope you two have a nice Valentine's Day weekend smile
Ginnie Hart: The wind-chill factor was the main problem, Emily...but probably not as bad as where you are there!

The Dutch really don't celebrate VD, except for those who are caught up in American commercialism. But I DID buy a package of 4 big heart-shaped gevulde koek (cookies with almond paste inside), that we're spreading across 4 days, eating half of one each, since they're so big. That's the extent of it...and just enough. smile
great shot! stunning treatment
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Ayush.

C'est vraiment une très belle photo.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you very much, Sabrina.
A fine end result with your image Ginnie. So cold here the last few days. This evening it's going to -27 celsius. And that's not even with the wind chill.
Ginnie Hart: That's cold, Jacquelyn. The day it gets that cold again here in the Netherlands will be THE day. We're still hovering most of the time around 40F, with just a few nights/days at freezing. (sigh)
Great colors...
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Larry.
