Brilliant shot, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. It was my first day in the polder after my knee surgery and seemed like a celebration. smile
A lovely landscape.
Ginnie Hart: It is, Michael...and one of my favorite places to be, rain or shine. Thanks.
Oh how I love this! The rolling visual of it! Awesome! Yes...off to a great start...will be pushing 80 degrees each day this week! Yippee!
Ginnie Hart: You have seen this polder (though without snow), Robin. It's one of my favorite places to be. While you enjoy your 80-degree summer-like weather, we will enjoy another dusting of snow. smile
So pretty, Ginnie - love your angle! Should be nice and sunny here!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. Friend Robin in Scottsdale says it's in the 80s there right now. Enjoy it! We just got another dusting of snow. YAY.
Une belle lumière qui évoque un peu le début du printemps
Ginnie Hart: Even with snow, Marie! It's almost like we're still surprised whenever a cold, winter's day is sunny. smile
Wonderfully captured Ginnie! I hope the day will be as bright as this.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Richard. Sometimes we forget how delightful the sun can be on a cold, winter's day! smile

You should make this lovely picture into a jigsaw, Ginnie, and you would have hours of pleasure whilst you are laid up
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, that's definitely an idea, Lisl, since we both LOVE jigsaw puzzles. smile

Very nice Ginnie, these traces of snow look very agreeable to your composition
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris. It felt like an appropriate celebration for my first day back to the polder after my knee surgery.
A fine composition Ginnie. Nice way to start the week
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

Oh, a lovely typically Dutch polderschap - when I went by train through Netherlands last Saturday all the fields and meadows were still covered with snow - even some flocks of sheep, cows and horses were grazing there and some canals were slightly frozen ...- I love this iamge!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Philine. The polder throughout all seasons of the year is one of my favorite places to be!

That is a great shot. Our favorite route to the Pannenkoeken restaurant. Never never will I get tired of this route.
Ginnie Hart: My sentiment exactly, MLMA. I LOVE the Dutch polder, rain or shine!
snow snow snow!!! i bet you are happy about that!!! beautiful picture tooooo
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Elaine. Not much to speak of but enough to call it "snow." And then to add the sun on a very cold day, it was heaven. smile

Sunny for a few minutes at dawn - back to grey and cold now ;o)

Leads the eye into the shot a treat - keep up the steady progress.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Mike. My first day back into the polder after my surgery was like a celebration! smile

It's grey here Ginnie, but as cold as your picture looks.
Ginnie Hart: The sun is coming in and out all day thus far, Chad. But's it's cold here, too.
A fine day for your first outing there.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Martin. I was a very happy camper. smile
I love this sunny, clear day that you are sharing. Looks lovely.
Ginnie Hart: It was like a celebration day for me, Mary, getting back out to the polder again after my surgery!
What a lovely day, G!
We only had a few sleet on Friday. Ha ha.. That's all we got. No snow yet. sad

How's your knee? Imagine "A" pulling you on a sled on a snowy day!? He he... I know smile
Ginnie Hart: "A" would love that, LC, and finish it off with a cuppa Glühwein, she says! smile That's Life!

My day started with my son from Namibia who is here with us. His second hip was replaced this morning - the previous one at the start of September 2014. He should be released by the end of the week and then the time for domestic rehabilitation will commence.

A cool polder shot, that you have here. Which reminds me - we also have Dutch visitors under the roof. A very full house.
Ginnie Hart: Your son's SECOND new hip??? My goodness, Louis. What has he been doing??? It sounds like he's in good hands, especially with all those Dutch visitors to nurse him along. (The Dutch seem to know what they're doing.)

Sun's out, the wind has dropped but still cold here. No sign of any snow, though sad This is a lovely view; wish I was there now smile
Ginnie Hart: One day you'll have to come visit us, Alan...maybe with Chris or Chad (we can only take two visitors at a time here).
It looks so much like the eastern area of England where I come from, and that we call our Fens. I saw your latest blog entry, was this taken on your first day out after the knee job on the way to that restaurant where you ate those most delicious looking pancakes?
Ginnie Hart: You nailed it, Brian...that very day. It was like a celebration for me, my first time out in the polder after my surgery!
with a day like this. it is hard not to feel upbeat Ginnie, very nice indeed.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ayush. That's how I felt, too...and thus a good way to start off the week!
A lovely sight to greet you back Ginnie. We have had the sun out for mmost of the morning
Ginnie Hart: It was a celebration sight for me, Janet, after my surgery. I was in heaven. Thank you.
so crisp and clear and sunny... we have our now-usual overcast over here... sad
Ginnie Hart: We had rain, snow and sun off-n-on all day, Larry. It was very weird. Something for everyone. smile

What a lovely peaceful scene
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Anne. It's one of my favorite places on Earth.
i like your sunny day with just a dusting of snow across the field and the blue water in the creek...

we have a bright today as well...

because there aren't any clouds last night the temperature dropped down to - 36C last night...
we have two of the grandchildren for a sleepover this week...
they got the day off because all of the school busses in the district were cancelled....
but it's still a nice day and life is good....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. When the kids get to stay with G'pa and G'ma, and not go to school, all's well with the world!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
This is such a pretty scene smile
