Gotta have goals, you know.

Half-moons on my exerciser is all I can do right now.

Soon there will be cycling tours of the Alps!
Ginnie Hart: That's what I'm afraid of, Ray! grin
Love it!! You'll get there!!
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Robin...slowly but surely. Thanks for your confidence.
Here's too a smooth recovery, because those cobblestones look bumpy.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. I don't fancy the cobblestones, though I've had to navugate them twice already. I AM trying to get out-n-about around the neighborhood.
Which is pretty darned impressive less than two weeks post op! I know you'll get there soon!
Ginnie Hart: That's what Astrid keeps telling me, Elizabeth, trying to keep me encouraged. Sometimes I get too impatient (who, ME????). But yes, I do see the progress and am a happy camper. Thanks for rooting me on. smile
You will be pedalling before you know it. Wonderful shot.
Ginnie Hart: My PT told me yesterday if I want to do the full circle, just do it. I looked at her speechless, like she was crazy! (Of course I want to....but, but, but....) Thanks, Michael.

It is not even two weeks after your operation and I am very very impressed and proud of what you are able to do.
Like yesterday the laundry...
One day soon you will be racing around again.....
IHVJ
Ginnie Hart: Thanks for helping to keep things in perspective, MLMA. Sometimes I get too dang impatient, as you know. One step at a time, little by little. And with you by my side as my biggest fan club, how can I not be racing around again. Watch out! grin
I bet you'll enjoy it again soonest Ginnie! Wonderful image.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Richard, I do enjoy cycling and know it will be a good part of my rehabilitation. So I'm setting my sights on it! Thanks.

That's sounds good to me, Ginnie. Well done!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks for your confidence, Lisl. I was a bit discouraged yesterday but am teaching myself not to be so impatient. Step by step....

Oh, I don't know where we were - first I thought we are in Holland. Yes, my best wishes for you!
Ginnie Hart: This was the day we walked around the market, Philine, somewhere nearby. But yes, it could be in Holland! Thank you.

Ginnie Hart: No, thouse aren't our bikes, Elaine, but we both love to cycle and plan to start doing a lot of it when I am able. It's be great rehabilitation for me and we'll be able to SEE a lot in the process. For you, just do it. It does wonders for the heart and soul. smile

One step at a time. Bumpy cobble stones are not so great. This picture makes them look nostalgic and pleasant though. You'll get to bump along soon enough enjoy the down time.
Ginnie Hart: Good way to look at it, John...to enjoy the down time. But hopefully no moss will grow under my feet! smile Thanks.

How does that saying go? Learning to walk before you try and run. Well I am afraid cycling probably comes after that ;o) You will get there though.

It is a fine photo.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mike, for your vote of confidence. Yes, I'm trying to be patient. (sigh)
"A" can always give you a ride, any time you want, G. wink

No need to wait till one day.
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! I'll have to tell A what you said, LC, and watch her reaction. grin

No reason why you should not do it Ginnie, it's all up to you. I just hope you do not suffer too much pain.
Ginnie Hart: I will definitely do it, Chad, but the question is when?! If there's too much pain, I obviously can't do it...yet. (sigh).

Knowing you Ginnie you will soon be doing full ones great capture bring back the old days.
Ginnie Hart: The day it happens, Peter, the whole wide world will know. grin Thanks.
I can only imagine you doing a half moon. Soon you will be full mooning us. smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA. Good one, Mary. That'll be enough to keep us all going for awhile. grin
Next stop, the Tour de France, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Now THAT'S a vote of confidence, Tom. Thank you. smile

(Isn't mooning dropping your knickers and showing a bare backside? Or is that just the drunk under-30s when there's a TV camera around?)
Ginnie Hart: You're lucky I know what you're talking about, Alan. HA!
Love the textures on the wall, I hope you're feeling better soon!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks a million, Will. So far so good...step by step!
These things take time Ginnie but you'll soon get there better than ever
Ginnie Hart: Patience is a virtue...something I'm trying to remember every day, Janet. Thanks for your gracious support.
I really like this image, especially in B.& W. Have patience with your recovery, and take your time, you do seem to be doing well. Maureen got impatient at times recovering from both her Hip operations, and still is at times because there are some things she never will be able to do again, but she got there in the end, she's actually run s couple of times lately without realising she is doing it!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. It always helps to know many others have taken this path before me!

the bike is good for health, I should redo - Beautiful black and white
Ginnie Hart: The bike is VERY good for health, Pat, and is something I hope I can manage in a month or two from now.
You'll be riding before you know...
Ginnie Hart: I sure hope so, Larry! The day I can make a full cycle on my exerciser with be a day of celebration!
it won't take that long Ginnie... i rode the bike at physio from 2 minutes to start with and then a half hour at the highest setting...
three month later i was riding a bicycle on the beach in SC....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Something to look forward to, Peter!!!!

Next time you are on your UK visit we should consider a group cycle ride ;-)

I am so happy that you are recovering so well from your op smile
Ginnie Hart: Now that's an idea, Cherry. I have yet to ride a bike in England, anywhere! Needless to say, I'm antsy to get this road on the show, as we say! smile

For a moment there I thought you are already cycling about.
Ginnie Hart: You can fool some of the people some of the time, Louis. But no, not quite yet. The first day I can do a full cycle will be a HUGE milestone for me. SOON, I hope.
excellent noir et blanc!! amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
oh yes Ginnie.. soon I hope... lovely capture
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ronky. Every day I see small progress...and for now, that's enough.
