BLEH

And that's all I'll say about that!

Thank you for all your get-well wishes on my behalf after my knee replacement.

Today is my first of 24 PT sessions since returning from the hospital Monday.

Onward and upward!

I like the Gargle [sic], Ginnie.

How is your skipping and jogging coming along?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray. Let's just say I have a long row to hoe...but I'm very motivated to "get this show on the road."
I know how it feels.
Ginnie Hart: If you do, Michael, then you're commisserating. Thanks!
Wonderful to see you back on!!! What a great photo and title!! And am so happy everything's gone so well! Good luck with PT... and congratulations - you got moxie! smile
Ginnie Hart: It's good to be back, Elizabeth, especially when people make me feel missed and cared for. It doesn't get better than that. THANK YOU.
So nice to have you back Ginnie!
All the best for your PT sessions.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Richard. It sure feels good to be back, even though I have a long row to hoe ahead of me. (sigh)

I think you are a trooper and your determination will make it to a success and the the recovery will be great.
I know it will hard with the PT, but everything for a good cause.
IHVJ.
Ginnie Hart: You're my biggest fan, of course, so you know how much I appreciate your encouragement. Now that the first PT session is done, I know it'll only get better and better. Thank you, MLMA.

M said you will be able to have a "knees-up" soon, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: A "knees-up" sounds very good right about now, Lisl. Tell M I'd like that. smile

I like see you again! Have a nice PT sessions!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Oscar. I just got back from my first PT session and I'm very pleased with where I am so soon after the operation...because SHE was pleased! My extension and flexion were much better than she expected. YAY.

awwww lol BLEH lol you made a funny, but i know it's not funny, but the gargoyle's face and.... it's funny smile soooooo glad you are home!!!!
Ginnie Hart: If we can't take a joke! Now I know why gargoyles are so important in the bigger scheme of things. THEY KNOW! grin

I just got back from my first PT session and she's very happy by my extension and flexion less than one week after my surgery. So that makes me a happy camper, too. She says it'll hit me tomorrow, however (the work she did today).....

Is 'Bleh' a call of joy? My best wishes for you, Ginnie! A fine gargoyle detail! And it is not raining today!
Ginnie Hart: "Say the word as if you were trying to puke it out. That's what it means, something is so yukky it makes you go bleh." And I thought the gargoyle looked like he was saying the word. smile

La lumière est très belle et donne un beau relief à  ces vieilles pierres.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Marie. And the look on his face tells you a bit about how I'm feeling some of the time! sad
Your sense of humour will carry you through Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: I sure hope you're right, Bill. smile Had my first PT session this morning and feel like I'm already on the road to recovery. She was very happy with my extension and flexion less than a week after my surgery. You know me...I always want to please. smile

Well 24 does not sound too many Ginnie. Easy for me to say of course. What an exciting adventure that you are on. A recent elderly neighbour fell and broke her leg. We thought that she would never recover but, to our surprise we saw he struggling down our lane in great pain. She said that she knew she had to get mobile again. Now she is as good as before.
Ginnie Hart: The 24 sessions will be across 3 months, Chad, (two a week), so apparently I do the rest on my own. In other words, the exercising never stops. And thanks for the story of your neighbor lady. Of course, I won't let this beat me!!
Are you all prancing and dancing now? wink
But it takes two to tango though, remember? Enjoy your time with A. wink
Ginnie Hart: It'll happen before you know it, LC, and you'll be the first to know. smile
With your sticktoitiveness, it will be over in now time. Tough but you are tougher.
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Mary. I'm so bound and determined to come back better than I've been in a long, long time! Thanks for your vote of confidence.

Good for you! Now behave when you see the physio; he may tell you to hop it otherwise wink The gargoyle looks pleased with your progress to date.
Ginnie Hart: I've just returned from my first PT session, Alan, and am a happy camper because SHE is. She says my extension and flexion surprised her less than one week after my surgery. So, hurray. She says what we did today, however, will "hit" me tomorrow.

Bleh indeed ;o)

Physios are all sadists, just go with the flow and it will be over in no time ;o)
Ginnie Hart: Well, she actually answered many questions today, Mike, and told me the extension part is more important than the flexion right now...which helps to know. So in that regard, I know what to work on. smile Thanks.

A little bleh, oh yeh?

Still a great picture.
Ginnie Hart: YUP! Sometimes a picture speaks louder than a thousand words, Louis, right?! smile Thanks.
Nice to see you back Ginnie and the gargoyle says it all. I have a friend who had it done a year or two back and heard how painful it is. Keep on keeping on
Ginnie Hart: Thank you so much, Janet. I know that one of these days I'll look back on it and be so glad it's over! Till then, I am very motivated to do the hard work. Astrid and I have too many other places we want to see! smile
So pleased to hear of your progress, Ginnie. Your wonderful positive attitude will be a big help on your road to recovery.
Ginnie Hart: This is so kind of you, Beverly. For me there is no alternative! smile
This could be you after 20 mins on the treadmill or whatever contraption they might put you on.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Martin. You nailed it. smile
Onward and Upward! We're cheering you on!!!
Ginnie Hart: I know you are, Robin, and it makes all the difference in the world. Thank you, dear one.
Great to know you're home Ginnie and starting physio so quickly. I guess it will help your knee get back to normal fairly quickly, it's just the bike ride to and from the hospital each time that is a little wearing I guess smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! I'm just very glad I can get in and out of our car quite easily!!! smile Thanks, Brian.
Keep at it, Ginnie... you can say bleh! all you like... just do the work...
Ginnie Hart: You nailed it, Larry. Thank goodness for good pain medication. smile
j'aime cet effet
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Angevine.
They seem to know what they are doing about knees, Ginnie - I'm sure you'll be hopping around like a young'un before long!
Ginnie Hart: Our hospital here does 300 of them a year, Tom, so they clearly know what they're doing. So far, so good, in spite of the discomfort. Thanks.

Ginnie Hart: Most kind of you, Peter, to stop by and comment here. It'll be a long row to hoe but I'm very motivated to do the work. (sigh)
You will be out playing football before long.

That guy kind of looks like me!
Ginnie Hart: I kinda like that idea, Michael...a goal to shoot for. smile Thanks.
