A two windmills day...what a treat!
Ginnie Hart: I had to go check out Astrid's page to see if you might be talking about her...and VOILÀ. What can I say. smile Thanks, Ray.

Ginnie Hart: Very kind of you, Peter. Thank you.
Oh how one could just find this amazing capture in some old vintage shop...in an old wooden box...deep into the bowels of Paris...somewhere in the left Bank..
Ginnie Hart: You sure know how to make my day, Ms. Robin! Thank you kindly.
That is an absolute beauty!

Happy New Year.

An absolute fabulous windmill.
Still I am impressed by the beautiful landmarks. Amazing when you see how they work.
The image looks like a 'Dutch Master'.
Ginnie Hart: We're on the same page today and we didn't even have to call each other. grin I love our windmills here where we live, all around us. You already know how soulful they are for me. What a way to start the New Year. Thank you.

This looks like an old master, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: The "master" part is questionable, dear Lisl, but the "old" part is very true...until I can get that blasted knee replaced. SOON. But THANKS always for your vote of confidence! HAPPY NEW YEAR, again!

Beautiful, Ginnie. Looks like something from one the Dutch masters with his box of oils. (Just thought: were there any renown female painters?)
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Alan. As to your question...WOW! I have no clue. But when I think that Mozart's sister was as talented as he was, before she was expected to get married and "end" her musical career, I wonder what other female artists got lost in history's cracks??
It is a very beautiful painting to begin the year Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: That's very kind of you, Marie. Merci.
Just like a beautiful postcard, G!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, LC.
Magnifique Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

This would make such a lovely print Ginnie. I could see many copies of this hanging in hotel rooms.
Ginnie Hart: How very kind of you, Chad. Maybe I'll make a canvas of it one day? smile
What a wonderful windmill Ginnie! I really like your treatment.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
It's like an old Dutch painting, Ginnie!

The others are right about the painting look. Must be by the septuagenarian master, Virginia Hart.

Let go of all your issues, so that you can grab the 2015 opportunities with both hands.
Ginnie Hart: This is THAT year, Louis, when being a septuagenerian is finally going to sink in, I hope. HA! I'm not so sure about the "master" part, though! However, little by little, when we get this old, the issues do get "let go." I like that. smile
Looks like a painting smile
happy new year smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Joshi. Happy New Year to you, too.
l'effet est superbe
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Angevine, and Happy New Year to you.
Ginnie, let's hope for good wind and fresh inspiration in 2015, happy New Year to you and Astrid.

It may seem like a tiny detail but I love the shining window in the windmill, the light shining in the dark... Makes me feel in a very positive way! Thank you. smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Petra. You know what they say: it's the little things that count. I love that little window, too. smile Here's to 2015 and all that it will afford. I'm ready! smile
Bit of a Dutch Master here Ginnie smile
Ginnie Hart: I was quite excited about how it turned out, Bill, so thank you. smile
It's not because I like windmills but in seven years of looking at your postings Ginnie this rates for me as one of the very best, your treatment and presentation is superb. Please tell me you will at least have a print made of this.
Ginnie Hart: This is most kind of you, Brian. Thank you. If ever I print any of my images, yes, this will rank up there at the top, so thanks for your vote of confidence. smile
This is absolutely stunning Ginnie. Just love the warm colours to kick off 2015
