Indeed it is Ginnie... Cheers!
Ginnie Hart: Cheers, Jacquelyn! It's gonna be a long day.....
Another year gone!! I wonder what 2015 will bring?
Ginnie Hart: One of my fastest years ever, Bill! For one thing in 2015, I'll get a new knee almost immediately and that should really, really, really help!!! smile
You seem to be having a stormy end for 2014.
Ginnie Hart: Well, actually, Michael, not so much stormy as "those dramatic Dutch skies" that make it very easy to "manipulate." smile

18 and an half hours to go.... (Dutch time)
Time flies and I know 2015 will fly lie crazy.
Great clouds here. Wonderful picture and for the next year, I hope many more to come smile
Ginnie Hart: We were so lucky that day at Kinderdijk. We'll have to do it on Christmas Day every year, if possible. Time does indeed fly and my guess is 2015 will be gone before we know it! Happy New Year, MLMA.
beautiful! Happy New Year!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Robin!!

Hopefully 2015 will be a good year - the wheels keep turning
Ginnie Hart: It'll start out with a bang, Chris, that's for sure. Let's hope it's more than worth all the hype. (A new knee for me really feels promising!)

Sounds like 2015 is going to be good for you, Ginnie with a new knee planned. I like your editing in this; you've added more drama to the sky.
Ginnie Hart: A new knee on January 8th will hopefully set me "straight" for the rest of the year/life, Alan. HA! I can hardly wait.

And thanks for the comment. As the day dawned at Kinderdijk, things got brighter and brighter. smile

I would like to have £1 for every photo with a windmill you show us, Ginnie! And £2 for a weather vane, £3 for a gable-end......... You are incorrigible!
Ginnie Hart: Now then, Lisl. I would love to make you rich!!! And it wouldn't be hard. HA! HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours. It's almost here.

another, wonderful, moody photograph ( the best one in this series in my modest opinion)! -my best wishes for your Silvester night! - we have our own special rituals - first a service in the church- for we have to thank for many things this year!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Philine. The thing I like about photography is that it all speaks to us differently, even to us who take the pictures. smile

Enjoy your Silvester night and bring in the New Year with much Joy and Hope for the New Year.

Happy New Year!!!! my sister friend... to you and yours.... hey? don't you have a dog or anything? i just noticed you are weirdly petless... i was thinking Astrid, and kids and grandkids, and my brain reached out for the name of a pet and found none... that's kind of sad lol get a puppy!
Ginnie Hart: No pets for us, Elaine, because we're gone too much and like the freedom. Neither one of us is fond of indoor pets, to be honest, which does sound weird, I know. But we enjoy the pets of others, and hopefully that counts? smile

Happy New Year to you both.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Pauline, and the same to you.
I hope you had a wonderful 2014!
May 2015 be another wonderful year for you and all.
Ginnie Hart: Absolutely, LC. It's been a great year and 2015 can only get better with a new knee (Jan. 8th)! I'm so ready.

Another great windmill composition. The extra of that previous picture was the light reflecting off the mill blades.

Tonight, yours will be a night, full of noise, fireworks according to choice. Over here, there will be some die-hards popping a few, but I expect it to be almost nothing.

So, once you have gone to sleep, may you wake up to a brilliant 2015.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Louis, and you remember/know the Dutch well...who are allowed to do their own persoanl fireworks. They won't die out till closer to 2 a.m. in our neighborhood, based on last year's. So we're in for a long night. Thankfully it's only once a year! smile HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too.
This is superb Ginnie! Enjoy your New Year's Eve.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Richard.
My warmest regards and wishes for the New Year, Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Juan Carlos, and the same to you and yours.
This is a great picture Ginnie, everything just where it should be.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Brian!
Another lovely windmill shot Ginnie. Not long to go now and have a good one
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Janet. Less than 7 hours to go for us now! smile
it looks like that windmill will have to hold on with that storm coming in...
wonderful composition Ginnie...

All the best for you and yours in the new year...
Penny and ....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: There actually was no storm, Peter, but just the usual Dutch show of fancy cloud work, which I always love playing around with. smile Happy New Year to you and yours, again.
wow, i like it! best 2015 Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Roland.
That is superb. Happy New Year!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir, and the same to you.
Ginnie this is just a gorgeous image!!! I love the tones in this! Happy New Year to you and Astrid!
