I love this straight down shot of these well loved brushes!!! Are these Norma's? Since I don't paint - photography is how I keep my diary!!
Ginnie Hart: "Well-loved" is so true, Elizabeth, and NO, they are not Norma's. They are, in fact, the brushes used by disabled adults in the Syndion support program where we live here in Gorinchem.

THIS POPS!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bonnie. So do the disabled adults in the Syndion group who use them!
Great pic', Ginnie, reminds me of one of those 'zoom' shots.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Frank. In this case, I was so close I didn't even have to zoom. smile

Wonderful angle. Love the quote and the colours.
Some of the brushes had 'quite some life wink'....
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, MLMA. Elizabeth wanted to know if these were Norma's brushes and I couldn't help but think of how well-cared-for hers were. These from the Syndion group have seen better days...and perhaps more funds for replacements?
Just superb Ginnie. Very nice framing and lovely colors.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Marie.
Great capture with this colours explosion Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.

I think these may be yours, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Actually, Lisl, they belong to the Syndion droup here in Gorinchem, where disabled youth/adults come to do art during day care! You may remember the In Soul post I did on them back in September: http://www.ginniehart.blogspot.nl/2014/09/open-monument-day.html

Oh, Ginnie, where did you find all these brushes - a wonderful inspiration for a colourful week!
I have just read your replies on some comments - sorry, I cannot remember the Syndion droup in Gorinchem.
Ginnie Hart: We also go to a nearby restaurant, Philine, called the Metropole, where the servers are members of the Syndion Group...disabled adults who have the mental age of 8-12. We LOVE to go there because they remember you and LOVE it when you come back, over and over again. Actually, we took you there, I think???

Those brushes have been used well ... big strong paintings were created with them ... know doubt
Ginnie Hart: Well used and well loved, indeed, Richard. They made me want to donate funds for some new ones. smile
I love your pov... expressing the wonderful colours of life.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Jacquelyn. Life really is Good, if we just look carefully.

Where were these brushes Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: The most important thing to say, in response to Elizabeth, is that these are NOT Norma's brushes, Chad! They are from the daycare studio of the Syndion Group here where we live in Gorinchem, used by disabled adults who have the mental age of maybe 8-12. They blow my mind by what they are able to do with these brushes (that sorely need replacement)! http://www.ginniehart.blogspot.nl/2014/09/open-monument-day.html

We have a Mouth and Foot painting society in SA. They produce the most amazing pictures by painting. http://mouthandfootpaintersrsa.org/mafpsastore/

This is an excellent picture.
Ginnie Hart: Painters with any kind of disability put me in awe, Louis. We have much to learn from them, I'm sure! Thank you.
Great shot Ginnie! Love the POV and colours smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir. smile
Cracking viewpoint Ginnie, and what a wealth of colours.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Brian. It sure caught my eye!

I love that quote and the colors in this capture are fabulous! So well done!!
Ginnie Hart: I love when a quote seems to match an image, Robin, so thanks. smile
I love it. Artists's tools always seem to take on an artistic personality of their own.
Ginnie Hart: I like that thought, Michael. I'm sure you're right! Thanks.
This is a wonderful image Ginnie... you have no idea how many stories that you captured in this one shot....petersmile

Ginnie Hart: This is fun, Elaine...and to think of all the stories they've told in the hands of "disabled adults" who still have their wits about them!
