Ginnie Hart: Mother Moon, spooky??? Nah. As harmless as a tidal wave. grin
Stunning Ginnie!!!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. She really stunned me! smile

The perfect picture for a fun night. I hope they keep it calm and bright.
What is it about the full moon smile
Elaine should stuck with Looney Tunes before going to bed....
Ginnie Hart: LOL at Looney Tunes for Elaine before bedtime. grin But indeed, what IS it about the full moon? It grabs our attention every time!

A very atmospheric photo - and I admire your processing skills - "All is calm, all is bright" - one of my favourite Christmas Songs - whereas I dislike Halloween - but your image is fantastic!
Ginnie Hart: I was hoping to give this mainly American occurance a more "hallowed" feel, Philine. Astrid hates Halloween, too!

I personally ignore Halloween ..now the moon I another thing and not docile at all ...just think of our tides. and of course the Pink Floyd would be nothing without ''Another side ...''
Ginnie Hart: The many faces of Mother Moon could sink a ship, Richard. Astrid hates Halloween and even now I can finally ignore it...except for remembering the date!

Oh yes, you convey the sense of mystery that this festival means. I hope you won't go out trick nor treating Ginnie, but feed the children that might knock on your door.
Ginnie Hart: Lucky for us, Chad, Halloween isn't really celebrated here in the Netherlands, so there's no temptation to even dress up. The kids are more apt to do that during Carnival in March. I guess that means we're safe? smile

Very good, Ginnie; I'm sure I can see a witch in the tree. Calm and bright here at the moment; probably manic on the nearby roads, though.
Ginnie Hart: Someone was bound to see a witch here, Alan, so why not you! grin I hope everyone stays safe today/night!
You found a witch's resting place. Good for you.
Ginnie Hart: You and Alan are on the same page today, Mary. smile
It is set to be the warmest on record here which probably means lots of trick or treaters.

I don't like Halloween sad
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling you celebrate Halloween there in the UK more than the Dutch do, Bill. Astrid doesn't like Halloween either, but I have to say I have fun memories of it in my day. I'm sure it's nothing like that now!
Amazing moon! great shot!
Have a nice week end!

Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Gil. Great weekend to you, too.
What a stunning capture Ginnie! Well done.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Richard.
Not a night to venture out
Ginnie Hart: In my last years in America, Martin, I always stayed at home on Halloween!
Great silhouette Ginnie.....almost looks like a bat coming to life!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Martin. It always tickles me what we can "see" when we look hard enough. smile

I see you have the silhouette of a little green man resting on that twig. Get him on your side and you ship will not sink.
Ginnie Hart: I like that, Louis. I'm a true believer in the Green [Wo]Men amongst us. smile
Oh, that's wonderful, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, dear Pailine. smile
Lovely shot of our friend the moon peeping through the leaves Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: I have a feeling she wishes she could do more to help us, Janet!
It does look like a witch sitting on her broom on the top branch.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I love what we can "see" when we look hard enough, Jacquelyn. smile
Great shot, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Tom.
A very good image Ginnie but I'm sure, with your background, you can imagine how Halloween goes down at our church, even if a lot of the rest of the population seem to go mad over it these days.
Ginnie Hart: Even coming from a preacher's home growing up, Brian, I don't remember any stritures back in our day. Maybe it wasn't so "evil" back then?
Great backlit mood...
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, Larry.
Nicely atmospheric, Ginnie. I see an imp or witch resting on the branch.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Graeme. Many have seen that same witch, I think. smile
how appropriate! very cleverly done Ginnie, and all the best for your January procedure
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Ayush...and thank you. smile After my volleyball accident in 1971, I'm very ready for a new knee! That's 43 years of making the best of a bad twist...and now it's finally caught up with me.
Une photo digne d'un film hollywoodienne.
Ginnie Hart: Very sweet of you Sabrina. Merci.
That is a terrific image. I hope you had a great Halloween.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Michael. The Dutch don't really celebrate Halloween like we do in the States, so for me the day passed "without incident." smile
I love this Ginnie! Perfect shot for Halloween... or any other day... smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Elizabeth. It's the only thing that reminded me of Halloween here in Dutchland. smile
