I love the quote and I love the vintage view of this picture. It is always a delight to see these pumpkins.
Ginnie Hart: Nothing like pumpkins in October, getting ready for Halloween...and Thanksgiving! smile
Cool pumpkins image... where was it taken Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Jacquelyn Ann. These were in Blue Ridge, GA, in the North Georgia mountains where we stayed for 5 days with my kids.

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Peter. I gave it a vintage feel because of the memory it is for me. smile

Glad to see you are still enjoying your travels. Love the pumpkin image.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Jennie. And yes, "travel" is my middle name...or I should say OUR middle names. smile
Halloween is on the way Ginnie! Great capture.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Richard. This is what October is all about. Thanks.
Wonderful shot - I love the tones, Ginnie! A really great display isn't it!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. I gave it a vintage look because of how it goes back all the way to my childhood. smile

Did you enjoy your fly-past, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: I always enjoy my fly-past, Lisl. smile These are the memories that warm my heart.
When I see pumpkins I always think of Linus sitting in the pumpkin path waiting for the great pumpkin to come. He never does but Linus never loses faith.
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Bill. Who could ever forget Linus and the Pumpkin Patch!

Hahah!! Yes, just the same as the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. The overall colouring suits the scene.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Alan. I made it look a bit vintage, just because it goes all the way back to my childhood. HA!

Ginnie Hart: Thanks, JP. It sure was eye-catching. smile
How pretty. Some of the autumn decorations are so beautiful. You have captured a very nice one!
Ginnie Hart: This is classic and iconic for us in America, Mary, so I was very glad to find this in the North Georgia mountains where we just stayed for 5 days.

OMG I love this shot, Ginnie. I am in the fall spirit right now. We are celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada, and I love the weather, the colours and ... yes, the pumpkins smile

Did you have a nice vacation?
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Emily. This is my favorite time of the year, and pumpkin scenes like this is one of the reasons why! We have just spent 5 days with my kids in the North Georgia mountains. We still have one more week in the Atlanta area before we fly back to the Netherlands!

A pumpkin arrangement with maize stalks and hay bales. The asking price $100,000 after discount. Well, since anything can pass for art ...
Ginnie Hart: HA! $100 would be a good price for all those pumkins, Louis!!! Lots of pumpkin seeds to roast. smile
this is so beautiful smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Joshi.
There's a pic in today's Guardian newspaper of the winner of the biggest pumpkin prize (in the UK) - it weighted in at 855kg (1,884 lb) !
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Tom. You could feed an army!
a fine composition and i like the warm tones employed here, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Ayush. I decided it needed a vintage look! smile

c'est bientôt halloween. cette photo est superbe.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, indeed, Sabrina. I love this time of the year. Merci!
Puts me to shame I only produced four rather unusual shaped specimens this year, but I'm sure Elaine will turn them into some delicious soup.
Ginnie Hart: OMG, Martin. Four is more than WE have, so be proud of your 4! And I KNOW Elaine will do something special with them. Will you roast pumpkin seeds, too???? smile

|That is nice but some of them look like they have seen better days.
Ginnie Hart: All the pumpkins looked to be in tip-top shape, Michael, so maybe it's my tweaking that makes them look not so good!

Serious celebration of this wonderful fruit, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: That's what it feels like to me, too, Ray! Thank you.
I'm getting a "Children of the Corn" vibe here.
Ginnie Hart: HA! I like that, Michael. smile
What a fine selection, one for every occasion.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Brian. This kind of image really nails the season for me. smile
jolie collection de courges aux jolies couleurs!!amitiés
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, JP.
If this fabulous image doesn't put you in a seasonal mood, Ginnie, I don't know what would. Such marvelous warm tones. Already celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving and am now looking forward to seeing our young grandsons in their Halloween costumes.
Ginnie Hart: I thought of all our Canadian friends last week, Beverly. So now you'll get to see your grandsons, even as I am seeing my one and only! Today I will say Good-Bye to him until he comes to visit us next summer! Enjoy them while you have them!
