Fine shot, Ginnie...love the fringe!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
That is a beauty. That processing sure works with it.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Michael. I especially like the sailboats with the brown sails, for some reason. smile

I love to sit and watch all these boats come by...
This is a beauty. Love the choice of B&W. Great processing.
Ginnie Hart: I think I could spend an entire day sitting at the beach like this, watching the ships sail by. So very soulful. Hartstikke bedankt, MLMA.
Beautiful feel to this Ginnie!!!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Elizabeth.

your framing and treatment brings it all together...
this photo is timeless....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Peter. For some reason, the brown sails seem even more timeless than the white!

A super duper image Ginnie - love it. I might have given it a sepia tint..
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Chris. I knew there was something I forgot to do with this!

like an old postcard - a peaceful image in a world full of wars, conflicts and troubles now! Superduper sepia tint!
Ginnie Hart: We need to see this these days, for sure, Philine. Maybe that's why it was so soulful to me?!

How DO you do it, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: You, too, are guilty, Big Sis!
Nicely aged Ginnie. It could be an old print.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Bill. That was in my mind's eye.

Haha - looks like the real version of my model today! I like the groups of people on deck - they lend a serious air to the journey.
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Mike, I thought of that. Like minds and all. Those people do give the boat scale.
Take to long on a boat to Mallorca , so we are flying Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Mick. Take some more good pics and have a great time!
great shot. i find that steep nose quite unusual.
Ginnie Hart: I find the dark sails unusual, too, Ayush, and find them so soulful. Thanks.
Wonderful shot of a schooner and your old time look processing really improves it.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Mary.
wonderful shot, a real step back in time.
Ginnie Hart: 'Thanks, Martin. It did feel that way to me.
What a beauty with this processing Ginnie! Well done.

Great shot, Ginnie, I like this atmosphere. I know the Isselmer a bit. Nice weekend!
Ginnie Hart: It's a great lake, HF. So soulful. Thank you.
Such a lovely shot!
I love this vintage feeling smile
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, LC.
Love the processing on this beauty! Reminds me of a postcard one might find at a flea market. Priceless!
Ginnie Hart: You're so sweet, Robin. Thank you.
Love the retro feel and processing.
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Will.
Woo - love it, Ginnie - nice tones.

Good plan, Ginnie. The wind this week has been taking me almost backwards on the bike; no matter which way I went, it always seemed to be in my face. I like the aged feel to this.
Ginnie Hart: Gotta pay attention to that wind, Alan, which is why the Dutch love their weathervanes. smile We watched a salboat almost go horizontal this past weekend. HA! Thanks.

my husband has a guitar on loan from a friend, we lost 3 guitars on the boat to mold and mildew and such... but now hubby is strumming away while i try to talk him out of buying it tongue
Ginnie Hart: We all need our toys, Elaine, so let him buy it. It's called "peace" to the household. HA!
soulful is a very nice word, totally appropriate here Ginnie, i suppose that is what i was thinking about but did not fnd the right word for it!
Ginnie Hart: You're very kind, Ayush. Sometimes I have no better/other word than 'soulful.'
