I like the graffiti, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ray.
For some reason I feel I can relate to this image wink
Ginnie Hart: I think a lot of people can, Will. smile
the question in my mind is, was the cctv in operation when this graffiti was sprayed on, Ginnie?
Ginnie Hart: Good question, Ayush!!!

Yes, I, too, noticed the CCTV cameras in England overall and I recall the complaints of some SCrs about the nanny state ... even a theme in our newspapers! Of course, you was watched, we all are watched and wiretaped every day ...
Ginnie Hart: By now, Philine, I just smile, since I have nothing to hide. smile

Nice to see this Ginnie: in truth, in the UK at least, we always seem to be watched. Themn there are satellites & drones..
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Chris. I doubt we'll ever see less of this in our lifetime. Maybe more, which is the sad thing, when I think of my children and grandson. (sigh)

Don't worry, we are being watched, whenever you like it or not.
I like the remark of Ayush, did they see the graffiti made...
It made me smile.
Great shot!!!
Ginnie Hart: Ayush has a good point. If someone did in fact see the artist doing this, I wonder if they did anything about it. Or maybe they have a good sense of humor by leaving it up?! smile

Un jour, j'irai à Bristol la patrie de Banksy. Belle désaturation
JP
Ginnie Hart: It is well worth the time and trouble, JP. There's lots to see! smile
Who watches the watchers? and who watches the people who watch the watch the watchers? We live in a paranoid world
Ginnie Hart: What will it be like for Joseph when he's our age, Bill????

Apparently the UK has the highest number of CCTV camera based on some or other criteria and each of appears on them 300 times a day. ig Brother, I suppose. I've nothing to hide, though (well... not much...) Well seen, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I just smile, too, Alan, because I don't care what they see. HAHAHA! smile

I too have nothing to hide so don't mind the watching - the weird thing is how uptight they get if you take a photo of their cameras!
Ginnie Hart: Lucky for me, then, Mike, that I caught this from across the street?! smile

I rather like the style of lettering on the pillar Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I wonder if it's still up, Chad, since seeing it in May?? smile
I know, tell me about it!
No where is safe any more.
Trust me, you know you can! Ha smile
Ginnie Hart: HA, indeed. Just do it. Who cares who's watching. smile
Great shot, Ginnie. Like you I don't care what they see, I just hope they enjoy it!
Ginnie Hart: LOL, Pauline. Let's just keep smiling and make them wonder!!!
They don't watch me so my Monday will be spent without paranoia.
Ginnie Hart: Good for you, Mary! smile Have a great day.
Nicely captured Ginnie..
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Ronky.

Can you imagine a more boring job? Watching other people passing by on the telly. I have been reading a lot of reviews and comments about the google glasses over the last month or so. What a business. Although I have a problem with people like google snooping around in my e-mails, the cctv doesn't bother me. Trawling my mails, they make me commercially available to other businesses. He is male so he will have an issue with the size of his spanner, while wifey doesn't receive any spanner related spam. She is the target for other stuff.
I remember way back when doing my national service, we used satellite images to spy on the adversaries. If he would take a leak against a tree, we could actually determine what size spanner he is using. So when you want to sunbath in the nude in your walled back garden ... some idle soldier could be watching [grin]
So nothing is new. I just don't want to be set up for commercial badgering, like when they trawl your mails.
Ginnie Hart: And that's a good point, Louis...or distinction!

They watch us, Ginnie, dead sure!
Ginnie Hart: I guess Santa Claus started the whole thing????
I just don't think about these cameras everywhere these days, like everybody else has said, why worry if you've nothing to hide.
Ginnie Hart: To be honest, Brian, I don't usually even SEE the cameras. HA!
Well we can't talk can we? Walking around taking photo's all day...smile
Ginnie Hart: HAHAHA! So true, Frank. grin
Mmm - good question!
Ginnie Hart: Yup.
great lighting! Happy Monday!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, dear Robin. (It's now Wednesday. Time flies!)
What will happen?
A good find Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Martin. I wonder what happened to the graffiti artist? smile

I suspect we will never get to see their photos...
Ginnie Hart: I suspect you're right, Cherry!
Good find Ginnie and i like your processing with the selective colour on the sign....petersmile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you and thank you, Peter. smile
Who is watching them? Excellent shot and use of colour.
Ginnie Hart: We'll probably never know, Michael. Thanks.
Hmmm - mysterious that... Great catch - and I love the selective coloring!
Ginnie Hart: I don't suppose you have to pay attention either, Elizabeth, right? smile
I do like this shot, what a crazy world we live in with all this constant surveillance, George Orwell wasn't far wrong with 1984
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Martin. (sigh)
Whom else?
Ginnie Hart: Exactly, Reinhold!
it's seems i'm quite caught up on commenting on your site, my friend.... i love this shot, that person made a stencil and ran around having fun with it... i must admit to having done that in my youth lol spray and run, spray and run haha while peeing yourself laughing smile
Ginnie Hart: I can totally picture you doing that, Ms. Elaine. LOL.
