an interesting selective colouring! Yes, we could see the most fabulous narrowboats in Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon, Stratford-upon-Avon, Droitwich ...
Ginnie Hart: I fell in love with them all, Philine! smile

Sharp, colourful, good contrast, selective - all as it should be - great picture, Ginnie
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Lisl. You know how much I love your narrowboats...something we don't have here in Holland!
Un bateau qui ne manque pas de couleurs
Ginnie Hart: That's for sure, Marie. smile
Superb selective colour Ginnie, brilliant.
Ginnie Hart: Many thanks, kind sir.

I took me a second or two to work out that this is the back end of a canal barge. I thought at first it was just a pile of junk wink The steps look to be a bit of an afterthought.
Ginnie Hart: Sometimes you just have to wake up, Alan, and then it all makes sense. grin
Canal boat art is so colourful and beautiful!
Oh I can see the Taj Mahal smile
Ginnie Hart: HA! Leave it to you, LC, to pick out the Taj Mahal!

I see we are having a narrow boat Friday ;o) Very colourful!
Ginnie Hart: Yes, Mike...sometimes we're on the same page! smile
What a sight for the eyes, Ginnie. I love it!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Mary. It IS a sight for the eyes, indeed.
Absolutely stunning, Ginnie. The effect is wonderful.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, Pauline. I have a weakness for these boats, as you know by now. smile
This is excellent Ginnie! Well done indeed.
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
Perfect for your selective colouring, Ginnie! smile
Ginnie Hart: Thank you, kind sir.
That's a pretty ramshackle set of steps! Fine image, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: They don't quite fit the boat, Tom, do they! Thanks.

That looks like part of the Friesian flag. The paintwork reminds of Hindenloopse schilderwerk. I have a feeling these people must have ties with Friesland in the Netherlands. Great picture.
Ginnie Hart: Could be, Louis. You probably know these things much better than I do!

I like the little yellow caps on the poles Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: I do, too, Chad. smile
This is an even more attractive photo than if one could see the whole boat.
Ginnie Hart: You know how they say "mystery" is the best enticement, Brian. smile
Sure beats that muddy pond Bill calls a marina in Droitwicn
Ginnie Hart: HA! Well, I saw some pretty nice narrowboats there, too, Mick, believe it or not. smile
Brightening the place up,Ginnie!
Ginnie Hart: Someone's gotta do it, Frank. smile
Someone sure had fun with the paintbrush, Ginnie, as I'm sure you did in creating this wonderful image.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Beverly. You have me totally pegged! grin
A great find...
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Larry. I thought so, too. smile
How sweet! Good spotting, Ginnie - and perfect processing!!!
Ginnie Hart: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth. You know love this kind of thing. smile
WOW this is kind of a blow my mind thing, with the selective colour! if you had to choose which was a metaphor for you, would it be the b&w or the colour? which is watching which?
Ginnie Hart: It's a playground of possibilities out there, Elaine, as you already know. Let's play!
