It looks very inviting, Ginnie...must be good for one, heh!
Ginnie Hart: I have gained a good taste for a good hard cider, Ray. Whether or not it's good for me, I could care less. HA!

Is good for two..... wink (@Ray)...
Chad is a dear, he bought us Magners which we enjoyed. They were as good as this picture.
Happy memories.
Ginnie Hart: One bottle filled these two glasses, which was so nice. I* LOVE that stuff...and I'm still wondering how Chad found that out ahead of time??? Did we ever ask him?
Oooh yum! Both the drink and the photo!!! Love the sunny tones!
Ginnie Hart: Thanks, Elizabeth. When the sun caught it like that one late afternoon, I couldn't resist the photo-op.
You didn't pour a glass for me. Now I am going to pout.
Ginnie Hart: Aha. Well then. I guess I'll just have to go back for some more, Michael! I'd quite like that. smile
Cider is one thing but real ale is the real thinggrin
Ginnie Hart: Are you talking about apples and oranges, Bill??? I have also learned to like the "real ale," which, as I recall, sits more at room temperature. But I must say I do like that Magners, especially cold. smile

a golden Magners Irish Cider - a wonderful photo! I know in which room you were sitting.
Ginnie Hart: Oh, yes, Philine, to both! What a delightful memory. smile (In America we call this the Family Room.)

Pigs like apples so would like cider
Ginnie Hart: (Hic) Nothing better than a happy pig!!! grin
The amber liquid but not as good as that other Irish tipple Guinness, that can bring out the James Joyce in anyone smile
Ginnie Hart: But now you're talking apples and oranges, John, just like with Bill's "real ale." The thing is, I also have acquired a taste for Guinness...AND for real ale. HA! You'd think I was a sot. smile

I like the beautiful light on this glass. Lovely tones also
Ginnie Hart: It was one of those moments I couldn't resist, Marie. Thanks.
He he..No Irish coffee?
That's my favourite! smile
Ginnie Hart: Now you're talking about something altogether different, LC. I DO like a good Irish coffee! smile

I must buy some matching glasses Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: HA! Who cares about the glasses, Chad. But speaking of which, Astrid and I went to the nearby charity store recently and bought us some nice ones for €.50 each. We're all set for when you guys come back! grin
Great shot, fantastic compositionsmile Greetings
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Zielona.

Now on what is going to be been a very hot few days in the UK (we're blaming the continentals for their warm air smile ) these drinks seem very inviting.
Ginnie Hart: I totally agree, Alan!!!
I am not a fan of ciders but it is the favorite drink of my son's girlfriend. Your shot is gorgeous, Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: There's a Woodpecker cider in America that I have had several times, Mary, which is where I probably first acquired the taste for hard ciders. I'm especially fond of Magners! Your son's girlfriend is right up my alley. smile
I will try one later Ginnie.
Ginnie Hart: Why can't we find them here where we live, Mick????????????????? Enjoy yours.
Cheers Ginnie! What a wonderful glow.
Ginnie Hart: It was just the right time, Richard. smile Thanks.
love the tint in this image Ginnie.. fantastic!
Ginnie Hart: Many kind thanks, Ronky. Take a picture first and then drink! smile
If the taste of Magners is as good as this mellow and inviting capture, Ginnie, I'm game to try it. Seems the only distributor in Canada is the Premium Beer Company in Etobicoke, Ontario. Will try to pick up a few bottles when we are in Toronto next week to attend a family wedding.
Ginnie Hart: It's my favorite, Beverly, so I don't think you'll be disappointed. Do let me know how you like it, if indeed you're able to get any. smile

The above is the distributors of Magners in Holland.

Cider - I drank local brands while in Cornwall. Otherwise I don't prefer them, as whisky is a lot better smile We have lots of ciders here, being a major apple producer. Right now it is winter and then we prefer Red Jerepigo, which have to sip from a much smaller glass.

Cider is preferred by a number of women in my family. My one son would also go for a very dry and ice cold cider on a hot summer's day.

Oh yes, an excellent picture of relational atmosphere.
Ginnie Hart: Aha! So maybe, just maybe, here's some place I can get it here in Dutchland, Louis! Thanks for the research. Your family sounds very sensible. smile
Love the picture but we've never tried the Cider, our daughter and her husband usually drink this most of the time at the pub, we will have to give it a try.
Ginnie Hart: If you ever try it, Brian, let me know what you think. I'm sold on it! smile
Did you laterally reverse the shot, Ginnie? You should go to Hereford and try the real scrumpy! A pint would knock you out smile
Ginnie Hart: Nope, Tom. I did nothing to the shot other than my usual twiddling. But I'm up for anything scrumpy, so please save some for me. smile
